Gold is now up $88.5 per onz today, time 20.33pm

Things are begining to look good at last - have we found that Goose that is going to lay that "golden egg" ?? (of course we have) My advise would be to let that "golden egg" hatch and we then have even more golden Geese which hopefully will lay even more golden eggs. My boots are filled to the brim now with CMR, and don't have any room for more, what I mean is there are no more funds, but Hey, the sp is only going to get more expensive to buy from here. Glad I am in at the begining of an incredible Journey as Gemma put it a few posts ago, and from these BB's then I am aboard with some very good companions. Onward and Upwards is the direction.

Hi Gemma, Gold certainly has seen the biggest jump for a long time today, and this has helped CMR close at 1.00p / 1.25p tonight. Glad I topped up this morning again. News alert out tonight from Hemscott which officially tells us that RAB no longer has an interest in CMR, so I suppose we will see this as an RNS tomorrow. Have you seen the 400K sell tonight - possibly some one who has not done their homework - bet they will be gutted in a couple of months time should they not buy back in. I have heard from several of the regular posters on this site that they have taken advantage of this "blip" that Rab had caused. Lots more buys than sells which I would think we may see as a trend now for a while.

You are right about the trades, as I thought I better treat myself to another top-up whilst the price is this low and my trade is not showing either.

High Guys - Yes very good news, and now we are getting nearer to production then I understand we should be getting more regular news updates. Rab are being contacted today to get them to let the market know they no longer have an interest in CMR. I'm not around for the rest of today, so will catch up with you all tomorrow. Good Luck . SH

Cambridge Mineral Resources plc ('CMR' or 'the Company'), the mining exploration and production company has been awarded three new copper-gold exploration permits in Bulgaria covering a combined area of 180 km2. This statement is a part of the Full RNS released today. Rab were so desperate to raise cash that they had to sell the last of their CMR shares at the knock down price of 0.75p last night. The selling price was not so good for CMR, but at least Rab are not around to futher damage the share price as they have been doing by shedding big volumes, so lets hope that now it will be onward and upward for CMR.

Would be nice to see in one way, but not for us with buys at a much higher level, but I have it from a reliable source that this 2M sell @ 0.75p today is the last of RAB share holding in CMR. I am also told that even though it is market ruling that RAB should notify this, they may not due to confidence in their own portfolio being depleated, and FSA and LSE are too busy with other matters other than trivial things like this at the moment.

John, there is genuinely no need to apologise as we all have days when we "fire off" a little when things have not gone well, and yes we all may read into the posts that are written here something that was not intended. Maybe I should have worded it different. RAB dumping all these shares is enough to make all of us frustrated as this is keeping the sp down as IHNC / Chan / Nice 1 have also said. My thanks to Chan & Nice 1, in appreciating the updates I post here. Q4 approaches in 18 days time, albeit we may have to wait until toward the end of Q4 for "the" news we want to hear, but I feel CMR may be giving us news on progress other than Quintana during Q4 as well - my opinion only. A very exciting 3 months coming up ??

Good Morning IHNC, yes I have it on very good authority it is definitly RAB that have been selling "the big numbers of late", and you may just see soon that Rab do not have any CMR holding, that is assuming they are still in the unfortunate possition of having big pressures to liquidize assets.

John, a little bit more information for you (and everyone). Not too long ago RAB had over 18M shares, now they are down to possibly 2.5M, so this represents a lot of the "red" trades we have seen over the last couple of months - trades of anything from sizes of 100K to the Millions of yesterday. Now I cannot tell you exactly the volume at this moment in time as to the last single share RAB still own, but unless we have another "big" shareholder in trouble, I would like to think we have seen the last of the big sells after RAB get rid of their approx 2.5M they have left. John, I hope your 350,000 shares will some time this year get to, or even pass the 2.784p you need to break even (assuming you have not increased or decreased your holding from the last figures you informed us you have). John, let me address your "upset" in the order you mention them, as I think you have read my post in the wrong context. If Rab do not have many more million to sell, then in the FUTURE they will not be able to off load many more big sells. Next - not many small sells - There have been more blue than red trades lately, and I don't think the small sells of £66 & £669 could actually be called "many" do you ? "Fact not Fiction" - meaning - true and not just sometihing made up. CMR are extreamly happy with the support of their loyal share holders (which includes you, me, and ALL who have held on to their shares during the difficult investment climate we are experiencing). CMR want to bring the rewards we are waiting for to us as soon as possible - "Fact not Fiction". As you say John, you have just under £10,000 of these shares and you can top-up if you want, but there are people out there that are not as fortunate as you and would "love" to top-up at these prices, but just do not have the funds to do so. I hope this addresses your "upset" John, and my post was meant to be informative and factual. SH

The big sells of today is RAB having to liquidize some of their assets in order to balance the books. Rab have been off loading CMR as they can quickly get Cash to pay out the withdrawals from their own funds. It looks as though Rab are down to their last few million shares in CMR, and possibly next week they may no longer have any CMR shares at all !!!. CMR has been able to stand firm even with these share sells, so only one or two more big sells from Rab and thats it for them. (more for us to buy, and don't miss your chance at these prices). Broker has confirmed all is still on target for Q4 production. This coupled with no big sells, investors taking advantage of these unbelievably low buying prices, may = sp increase ?? Interesting next few weeks coming up imo. You will note there are not many small sells, so this means confidence is still High, and quite rightly so. Even I am starting to get a stronger feeling of euphoria now that Rab will not feature in the equation for much longer. CMR are very pleased with the support of their loyal share holders, and it is their aim to bring the rewards sooner rather than later. Fact not Fiction.

No Company mentioned on the "placing" RNS - We should be able to determine if it is any of the existing 3 biggest shareholders when the shares are listed on or around the 16th September. Barclays is I think a client account, so possibly this may not show a big increase. Allianz, well as they are already on board, then maybe ??. I do not think it is RAB as they are in trouble with their funds and are offloading CMR shares in order to pay out withdrawals so the rumour goes. There should be a RNS notifying of an increase in share holding of the 3 mentioned if it is any of them, as they all hold more than 3% of the company shares, and any buying / selling should be notified to the company I think, correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Guys, well you could look on this "placing" as a possitive - many small companies cannot raise any extra money in the present financial climate - CMR have done it. Do we know where the new shares were placed ? Was it one or more placees that funded this money ?. The bottom line is that this will take CMR through to production whereby produced gold will then help the companies other projects come into fruition. Looking at other small cap companies today, especially in the commodity sector, then a large proportion of them have finished up in the red. As nice1 has said, production will be the driver to an increase in sp. Personally I view the AGM as telling us all is still on course, and whilst there is no negativity there, then there is not a lot we did not already know, so nothing to make the share price rocket as ogloke would have liked to see (all of us as well). This placing of shares basically has ensured production WILL be reached, and hopefully on time. Well done CMR.

Another dip today and recovery late in the day, I didn't get back on the computer until this evening so missed the buying oportunity. Break even at 1.71p at the moment, so musn't be gready. I'm in for the long term no matter what happens here, and even should there be a nice spike in the near future, then I'm holding as I feel sure the best to come will be long term. Q4 starts in 3 weeks time, and some time in Q4 is when CMR becomes of age and the transition from explorer to producer arrives.

Yes the Stock Exchange has been down for a good few hours now, and talking to some one in the city it could possibly be all day so I am told. The cause is probably the computers have only been used to going DOWN in a big way lately, and now today they actually went UP in a big way and they wern't used to it and caused them to crash (ha-ha). Any way Gemma, I feel you are right and the incredible journey you have mentioned has already started, its just as you say also, patience is required, and the good news won't be to long coming IMO.

No I don't know the name of the mine "next door", but this information was provided by the mining engineer who has been out to the Quintana mine on behalf of the companies broker - Hichens Harrison & Co

Hi Guys, Yes agree with you both, and sp should be getting nearer to the time it will start to climb. The reasoning for such a large tailings dam is begining to make sense now, the company probably knew there was more to come from the mine than what we have so far been told. The results so far for Quintana are from the drillings to a depth of 180 meters, but I understand the "mine next door" is currently down to a depth of 1.8kms. Quite possible the gold seam at Quintana runs this deep also ?? Who knows how deep the current seam will run as if drilling is only to the 180 meters depth the possibilities of running as deep as the "neighbours" would be exciting.

You're right crest, "one day" and the listing in H.K. should help imo. It doesn't bear thinking about should the company every have a bad year !!.
