RNS out today - Gold Production Commences at Quintana, Columbia

Sounds about right to me - the time and date that is Pisgah. Sorry about my spelling in my previous post - "begin" is what it should be

Columbia is about 5 hours behind us. If the news is correct from trying and Pisgah, then fasten your seat belts guys the ride is about to beging.

Hi Chan, - I also read yesterday that quite a lot of gold has been bought by Saudi Arabia in recent weeks which would support your article. Many different opinions at the moment where gold is going, but as your article mentions a possible undermining of the dollar due to the recent "bailouts" may just start a buying frenzy in gold. One thing for sure is CMR seem to be in the right place at the right time. The company broker has said that CMR want to be producing this month if possible subject to any teething problems - so agree with you NOT LONG NOW.

Good to see the "blue" buys coming back, maybe the last of the cheepy buys are being hoovered up and not to long before the buys at this price will be gone as well imo, especially as we near any announcement about production / gold pour. I note the directors buys were not reported on the news section here either - strange - but that is what these BB's are for, to pass on information to our fellow investors. Todays RNS that GedW reported about share holding not showing here again. Makes you wonder if production / gold pour will be reported.

There is an RNS out this morning confirming Allianz have increased their holding in CMR to 14.52%, although it does not seem to be showing here again. Also it looks as though the last 8 "sells" showing here are actually "BUYS"

Hi John, now I don't think the directors would contavene any regulatory rules at this late stage of play. We all have known that the company expect production to start by end of Q4, which I would think included any gold pour. We all have had the chance to buy when the shares dipped below 1p back along (including the directors), so we could have bought below this "placing price". Not sure if there is anything out of order here, but wouldn't think so. One thing I do feel sure of, and that's they wouldn't be buying if things were going drastically wrong.

As 80sCasual has stated there has been another "placing" again today. CMR still able to raise money in this credit climate, directors buying in out of their own money , what is this telling us folks ??. To me (my opinion only) is that there is still a lot of confidence in CMR, and with the directors spending some of their own money, then things are still going in the right direction. Can't be too much longer now before the news we have all been waiting for starts to filter through. Only 8 weeks until the end of Q4 - production in Q4 - excitement / patience soon to turn into Jubilation - lets hope so.

Hi Chan, Nice1, Dave339 & IHNC. It's nice to see a bit of heathy discussion back on the board whatever anyone's opinion - hope all you guys are well. I feel good news is not far away now, and I am sure we will see people taking a profit as soon as they can - nothing wrong with that. I was thinking if I were to sell some of my shares and put the money in "safe hands" like a building society etc, how much would this earn me now that interest rates are being reduced - not much - that is why it is my personal choise to let things run for a 12 month, right or wrong time will tell.

hypothetical answer to your hypothetical question - with all the projects in Columbia alone then CMR has the potential to make a much better sp than 4p. I am sure 12 months from now will paint a better picture. To exploit all the projects will take a lot of money, and as of now CMR has only been spending, not producing. Quintana hopefully being the first on-line to turn this trend around. As CMR has said in their results JV discusions have been taking place which will also help with the finance should they materialise. CMR has all this potential but without finance it will not turn potential into gain, that is why I have said 12 months will paint a better picture. I feel good about holding my investment for the longer term and not just taking a quick profit of a 1p or 2p per share. THIS IS MY VIEW ONLY and I am not recommending that all / any should follow my thoughts. Hypothetically again, the pieces of the jigsaw are there, it's just fitting them all together now. Now this is based on the information available to us now - I wonder what may be happening in the future, things the company have not told us yet !!! Had talked to the broker again last week on Friday for any update. He still confirms all is on track for production this quarter, and possibly this month, albeit they have had some very heavy rains around Quintana. Media meetings are arranged for the second half of this month in order to promote what the company have achieved, which may include "NEW" information. The media won't want "history" so the new information is being held back until then - whatever it is the broker is very possitive on it !!. I understand Colin Andrew is out in Columbia now hopefully overseeing the run up to production. I HAVE READ THE RNS THAT "NICE 1" IS TALKING ABOUT - WHY IS IT NOT ON HERE ??

Hi John, I was also interested to hear the reasons "ruthykins" has stated it would be madness to put your money into CMR right now. O.K. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we must respect that. John, ask yourself what has changed with CMR in the last 2 years since you invested. The sp has defineitly come down, but as a % in the last 14 months CMR is 24.94% of what it was. Other miners in no particular order or metal - ORE is 8.22% of what is was 5 months ago, GFM - 17.75% of 12 months, SRB 2.2% of 14 months, CBM 15.94% of 4 months, and AXM 8.89% of 12 months. When you look at this then CMR are not doing so bad IMO, but as you know I am rather biased toward CMR right now. CMR have managed to raise finance when required up to now, which makes me think investors have confidence in them. CMR will become a gold producer soon which should help increase the sp. This is only how I read CMR possition, and I DO respect ruthykins views and am NOT trying to knock them. As the old saying goes "if in doubt then keep out". Good luck whatever your decision.

Hi Guys, yes a little concering to see the share price drop, so I contacted the company broker. I was reassured there is no bad news, and it is just the market conditions. They also said that production should be starting in the not too distant future, and they are not aware of any "hic-cups" that will cause further delays.

Morning Gemma, well what a volatile time the market is having. Just checked up on some of my previous holdings and thankfull I sold and invested into CMR. Yes excitement is still with us even in this climate, that is so long as we are in CMR. Looking forward to when my holding in CMR is back into the "blue", but as you know the wait will be worthwhile.

Sorry if you thought I was trying to be patronising, as I certainly was not. I didn't want to give my views of where the sp may be should gold hit $1500 as we don't know for sure when CMR will be producing, albeit Q4 has been stated. I was trying to ensure you had done a bit of homework on the company before you invested, if you hadn't done so already. I think we have to be very careful on here about what is said to a new "poster" just in case he / she rushes straight to the broker and buys shares without doing their own research and buying just on the views of people on here. I do have an opionion of my own about the company, and it is just that, my opinion only, and certainly not advice. You have to have a licence to advise these days. For what it's worth, and as stated this is my opinion only, I think CMR is one of the best bets in the Junior miner arena at the moment to make us some good profit in the next 12 months, but I'm sure you would have worked this out fo yourself from my past posts. It will be good to have you on board with us captainzapp, and look forward to your views of CMR. As previously said, I was not trying to be patronising, offensive, rude, or insulting, but as I seen you had only had 1 post registered against your name, then I was indicating some research by yourself could be advantageous if you hadn't already done so. Hope this paints the picture a little clearer.

Without meaning to sound rude, It looks to me captainzapp as though you may not have done any research on CMR by asking if they make any money at the moment. If you were thinking about investing here, it would be best to go to the company web site, look at all the information available which will answer a) your question about is the company making money, b) give yourself a good insight as to where CMR are at this moment in time re exploration / production. Now if gold were to test the $1500 level, armed with the information you would have found out in a, and b above, your guess will be as good as anyone else as to what difference that may make to the company share price !!. We all share as much information as possible here, but you should not just listen to us, as a little investigation into the company by yourself should make you feel either comfortable or not so comfortable with CMR's present possition. It's in turbulent times like this that it would not be advisable to act on other investors thoughts, albeit they can be taken into account, but to have made up your own mind armed with information found out by yourself. Well the Dow closed at minus 678.91 tonight, and Gold is above $918. I think we are all in the right company at the right time

Hi All, another little "tree shake" to buy in a few more by the mm's. Just to say that possibly not all the Sells are actually Sells. I had £523 on my broker account so thought I would see how many / what price I could Buy for. I was offered 46545 @ 1.10p to Buy, so these boots of mine are really getting tight now Chan !! Trade was timed at 15-38pm but not showing yet.
