So with the prospect of nothing happening for the next 12 months, and anything from KC- can be taken with a pinch of lithium salts, the share price will drift downward.

Given the way their parliament “works”, I wouldn’t put too much hope in an early recall. Wasn’t this last session late to start after an adjournment (by a month or two)?

And then my concern is their election in December.

If it flips to the other party then that would likely mean the deal is reviewed? That would take us well into next year.

Sure the stuff is in the ground and it all make sense to us here (and the local populace)… I guess we have a white knuckle ride ahead. And if (when?) the so goes lower, would another bid (at 33p or less) be offered?

I’m wondering whether to stem my loss now and come back in later… what fun!

The “majority” in the Ghanaian parliament is the NPP with 137 MPs plus 1 independent MP.

The “minority” is 137 MPs from the NDC.

So if they were all to toe their party’s line then it’s down to the independent MP… Who knows what happens if not all MPs show up?

I just find it amusing how men tend to act like children but have the ability to attempt to rationalise their thoughts and actions.

As to saying something about the shares - in the absence of any update from KC-, in fact even with any update from Our Dear Leader - your guess is as good as mine. All I can say is, it looked good on paper but I’m not throwing any more of my good money in this direction.

If only there were more information forthcoming like the ALL board seem to manage then we might feel more confident about KC-. Though as politicians are ultimately involved with the fate of “our” company, guessing has its hazards.

Calm down N2S. Everyone on here has an opinion. (I’m not going to say anyone is entitled to their opinion, as I prefer facts over feels).

If you can’t handle opinions, however often they are repeated, then maybe stop and reflect as to why you are riled (especially if you don’t mind repeated opinions that you agree with…).

There’s a good question raised: what is the risk the board faces? Yes they get rewarded with a large salary - for doing hard work they do and keeping us all informed…. And let’s be honest, we are in it - “our” company - for the money.

I certainly didn’t see it as a joke at anyone’s expense.

I called it a joke but skelly pointed out what KC- said about a year ago - and the situation hasn’t changed. Some might say it’s gotten worse. What’s wrong with highlighting that? Does the truth hurt? It’s hurting me about £10k.

Why do some people get so worked up about comments they dislike? Perhaps too close to the bone?

Maybe some folks only want to hear good news? I’d say that’s childish, a sign of a delicate ego. We’re all so very precious. What ever happened to those medium-sized swinging d*cks?

That’s my concern too CJ - the price has been hovering around the 19-20p mark with what had felt like a downward trend over the past week or so… without rat in this session what happens to the sp? It would put much in doubt. Significant drop. 10p? Less?
