Brixton, There are many reasons for individual trades going through for 1 or 2 shares. Common one is to allow individuals attend shareholders meetings. Also it could be result of a will being settled where years ago an individual held shares in paper format,a consolidation took place and they ended up with an even smaller holding. As an office manager in a stockbrokers I frequently had parents and partners come to enquire about buying a single share in listed football clubs so they could frame and give as a gift to their loved ones. We are indeed almost there once again!!!! This is the gift that keeps on giving. My average is now 41p and this share is just excellent at adding to the coffers. I have used this to generate a decent return on my future pension and this is one that just does not disappoint. All views aside surely in this day and age anything generating a return in excess of 3/4 or 5% must be looked upon in a positive light. Well here we have a share generating in excess of 7% in returns so here we go again - What's not to like? Now as for the word "squidgen" it works for me though I might not be able to use it in scrabble I can still use it in conversation. As always good fortune to all RLE investors and to those considering making the move in to this share all I can say is do your research, look at the returns and if it is good for you get in here. One of the best investments i have made but then I do like the idea of getting a decent return on my investment and this certainly provides that. May your gains always exceed your losses . I personally believe this is a shrewd bit of business by GFRD. Water is the new place to be and with nmcn's already established business it makes sense. Now all we need is to turn the previous turnover in to profit. Easier said than done I know but if GFRD can put the right management in to this area of the business then this will add to our already strong business model. I work within the water industry and know the level of spend that will be coming through over the next few years. A good move all round and I hope that in the months and years to come we will all see the benefits of this aquisition. They are out though just not on here. Dividend of 3.2p. Share buyback of £500m. Looking ahead to paying out 50% of future earnings. Hope that helps until you get to read. Rgds

Stevebt, All dividend income in to your ISA account does NOT count towards your ISA tax allowance. It makes sense to move all your holdings in to an ISA account at this time. If you can use your dividend to increase your ISA you are saving money over the long term. Makes sense to run your ISA account. Every penny you can legally keep in tax savings is money well saved. I would suggest over time you make your ISA account your main trading account. No tax returns, increase in savings and win win. Good luck and if you want an idea look at adding reit shares to your ISA portfolio.

Seems like only yesterday since the last dividend but here we are once again. The share that just keeps on giving. May good fortune continue to shine down on current investors and future investors alike. At the end of the day we all want to make a bit of money and in my opinion this is one of those shares that does just that. DYOR but I for one am glad to be in RLE.

Adv11, Share price has done well over the last few months and the impressive dividend is regular as clockwork. This is one of those shares that you really must hold. Good all round share and a steady income.

All this time to get to the final stage . Are we there yet? Bit like going for a day out and the kids keep asking. This has surely been a long journey but one that will no doubt reap the benefits. Been here for so long I thought it was just a dream. My question now is is this dream becoming reality? I do hope so. In my opinion we are going to suddenly see a spike, certification for everything, and the roller coaster will begin. Not going to happen today, but maybe just maybe tomorrow. I believe in this company so not ramping up just getting relieved and ready to enjoy. To all those that hold and have held for a few years - keep the faith - the finish line is in site. To all others get ready for the ride. If you are in then you wont be disappointed I think. Time will judge me but in the meantime lets get ready to make some money. All the best to you all whether an investor or potential investor. We can all make money!!! (in my opinion :-))

Pantherax - They are indeed very prompt in crediting the dividends and long may it continue. Good luck with whatever decision you make with regards where the funds are best used next.

ii - dividend re-investment only £0.99p + SD if appropriate. Only downside is that it takes them up to two working days to re-invest. At least with lower re-investment charges it makes up in some way for not having immediate re-investment. The Share Centre used to re-invest on the day of the divi. Looking at comments on here it seems there really is a wide range across the spectrum of timing for receiving the payment and for re-investment. Good fortune to all investors.

Previously with The Share Centre but has now been taken over by Interactive Investor. Monthly cost is £9.99 but you get a dealing credit of£7.99. This is carried over for three months so if you do or don't deal so often it doesn't get wasted. Dividend reinvestment is within two working days and at reduced costs. Still getting used to new company but so far so good.

We have Aviva in the portfolio and as the last poster said Lloyds is another to be put in. Let me add in a 3rd - RLE - Real Estate Investors which is providing a near 8% return on dividends. So before long our 20k a year is now growing nicely and all profits are tax exempt. With these three shares in that ISA what returns are we expecting? I consider 6% a good return so far. All so soon our ISA shelter is turning in to an ISA ISA baby. Really like the nominations so far but I am sure there are more opinions out there!!! All it has to be is ISA eligible and a decent return. any suggestions?
