The reality is that those who advised people to sell into the spike made you money and are your friend those who told you to buy should have a wealth warning attached to their posts. Even Tymers has given up ramping this for now. I am looking forward to buying post placing and getting some money back, as are others, on the spike up to spud and prior to the result of Turkey drill. The only people who make money on this company are traders ...er and SS! DYOR

SRBS, interesting post. On the one hand telling us about trading the stock and on the other hand talking about holding. The DNA of U - DOG is that it 's SP goes down albeit punctuated by short lived spikes. Apart from SS the only people making money here are those who bought very recently and traders. Any one holding long has been shafted. The percentage falls have been horrific. A total car crash. But there is a pattern that repeats and one can profit from....it just does not include a buy and hold strategy!

No Buck because it won't be 0.2 to start with! Placing probably 0.15. Then the buyers sell. So yes may get well beyond 0.2 but if you buy at 0.15 by the time it gets to 0.2 you will have made 33.33%.

Looks like those of us who said to sell into the spike and then buy post placing have been of more use than the rampers who said buy the spike! Sp going down, placing still to come. The savvy here should be able to buy sub 0.2 post placing . My guess is circa 0.15. GLA and don’t let the rampers fool you.

I have been here for a number of years with a decent holding ( 1% of my portfolio) and a B/E. of 2p. The mine will get developed and at one point it will multi bag but very political. Will PI’s ever make any money. It remains in my top 3 shares to 10 bag in 2021/2022 but it might take longer. I am happy to sit and hold for the next 10 years if necessary. GLA

After yesterday's big gains it is very positive to see it holding north of 5p. But actually it is still early doors. It didn't take off until mid morning ...we will see

The issue here is market cap vs potential. If you look at other explorers and what happens when a spud or major news is imminent it is clear that a spike on EL should take this considerably higher and the MCAP at £35m remains too low given the potential even after the current rise. A mcap closer to £100m would see this more fairly valued so this rally has some way to go...and that is IMHO and not intended as a ramp. 88e went to a mcap of over 500m (on ramping) and is back in the 100m range so I feel there is a track to run on here, albeit a different company.

Wronin, I moved my UDOG shares to here on last weeks spike....I said that on the UDOG site and the rampers hated it. Will take some gains from here post UDOG placing and make money on spud...easy money. Its called investing but the UDOG rampers don't understand anything but BOOM, lol!

Ginger, I agree it does make your blood boil but the most despicable of all was our old friend Tymers. He actually gloated about all the money he made ramping people to buy whilst all the time selling himself. These people delight in taking money off the naïve and making their lives a misery. It is shameful especially when there are so many shares you can make money on whilst being a decent human being .

Hi Ginger great post. Thanks for doing the maths for our good friend Simple. Maybe even Simple can now work out that a placing is "necessary" . I said over the weekend that I would let the numbers do the talking whilst the rampers said buy 0.5p on open. Utter drivel. The sp is going down in expectation of the promised placing. There will be time to ramp this ...but not yet!

Ocelot, thanks for posting some common sense. The only thing not stated in the RNS is WHEN the placing will be not IF. SS says when necessary. Accordingly anyone who got beyond year 4 at school and did basic maths can work out that we do not have enough money to do the drill. Since we know when the drill is planned it follows that a placing is "necessary" and there is a short window based on spare placing capacity that we will see circa 1bn shares issued within the next 3 weeks. I would say DYOR but I feel that do SOME research and thereafter apply some common sense is more appropriate for many here.

007 I am a LTH and have been here a damn site longer than people like you who show up ramping with your diner money. The placing will be prior to the drill and there is nothing to drive up the SP prior to the drill other than speculation. The speculation will really happen post placing but the sp may be sluggish due to the participants in the placing selling. Nonetheless good money to be made by those who use their brains!

Simple your name says it all. Read the RNS FFS. SS has put it in black and white. There will be a placing!

007....please. An 18k buy is not big. It is less than the annual ISA allowance! You will see big money once the placement has been made which should be in the next few weeks. There is money to be made here I scratch my head though that at peoples inability to apply their brains and have patience. This is simple. Wait for placing, load up then sell on spike prior to either the next placing or drill result.

The EL would be a profit taking event for some. The EL is a good many weeks away so lots of time for this to build from its low mcap. 10p on sentiment is very doable given what we have seen with other oil,stocks bouncing from low levels. GLA

80k of trades is small beer so no news leak. 24m mkt cap. EL due. Chance of a nice spike here. I couldn't buy electronically and had to top up via broker so MM's clearly short of stock. Am a LTH , would be nice to get my money back. Oilies looking better now POO has risen from last years car crash. GLA

Troll hunter, did you actually read the RNS? You talk about fair value. The current drills don’t produce enough to cover costs. The sole value here is hope that upcoming drills, once financed via a discounted placing, may come good. Wait for placing then invest. This is pretty basic stuff!

Placing predicted in RNS not by de- rampers. LTH predicted sp would fall on open due to car crash RNS. Nothing more to say. I said the facts would do the talking. GLA
