I just re-read the RNS. There was a lot of equipment due in October as part of the timeline. Perhaps this has shown up given greater confidence for those "in the know". We could even be lucky in that some of the delays have been reduced or just greater confidence in the timeline combined with higher gas prices...just guessing. My B/e is circa 3p so I cross my fingers. I always thought 2-4 was doable but that was prior to both the cash raise and the surge in gas prices. I still expect to get out of here in profit. GLA

You are right of course my numbers are wrong just checked £1806 not £1809. I was £3 out. I have just amended my spreadsheet. Also I think some people are pretty poor at Maths. My initial stake in Tullow was a decent size that I progressively derisked. This share has more than 5 bagged for me. Holding 260,000 shares for £1806 is hardly hard in that scenario. Try starting with a sum of 30-40k as the initial holding ...some people!

Anton, believe what you like. As I freely admit some you win , some you lose. I lost big time on UKOG. This is the opposite. GLA.

FDM, For me this was a punt, a high risk play which is why I de-risked quickly and I have traded. In contrast with current management strategy combined with POO the company is pretty solid. £1 is pretty doable but for higher SP's we need some decent drills. I am happy to enjoy the ride. I have made back here what I lost on UDOG (UKOG) which is why diversification is so critical. Only a liar always buys at the bottom and always sells at the top. Even with the best research we all get dogs. GLA

I have been here for several years. My view has always been it is the right asset but in the wrong place in terms of infrastructure and politics. But ultimately it will get built. There has been a big political change due to Afghanistan and a potential new cold war brewing between the US and China. There is an old saying that your enemy's enemy is your friend - enter Russia. Russia was formerly your biggest threat.... I believe that prospects for AMC will start to get interesting not just because of a higher Nickel price and the TEO. GLA

Jubileey, you never win them all (don't mention UKOG!!!). But I gambled right here buying initially sub 10p and then some at 7p (and it was a gamble at 7p with oil at $20 and eyewatering debts). I then de-risked and have actively traded. All in my pension and ISA so £1809 total net cost. Good luck to all

I am very happy here 260,000 shares at a cost of £1809. I also have TB Guiness global energy and Ishares MSCI world energy sector funds. I think that the sector has some way to go and that POO is rapidly repairing balance sheets. I like Tullow but I also like a diversified sector play. GLA

Just topped up with another 200,000 shares. My average is now 20p. I am happy with that as a long term hold.

Maclain14 , I share your optimism but you should never ever put all your eggs in one basket. You may get lucky but if you do the same again you will lose big time. Diversification is the golden rule of investing. It not my job to teach or lecture so good luck.

Nookie, my average here is 0.11p having sold 3 tranches of 1m shares when the sp was over 0.5p to de-risk. If I had a crystal ball I would have sold the lot and re bought, lol! The point is though I only hold what I can afford to lose. It is high risk. I bought expecting to need to hold up to 5 years and am prepared to trade it if I see obvious peaks and troughs. I am pretty chilled regarding Alba. There is potentially a big prize but as always with Aim it might never happen. GLA

Nookie, there are so many answers I can give you but they all scream that you haven't got a clue what you are investing in. This is an exploration company currently producing nothing. They will make losses until they produce. The money from Greenroc was always going to be for Greenroc. The alternative was Alba doing placings and massive dilution. This way we retain 54% of Greenroc which has its own market cap and Alba does not need to do placings. The issue is that the market expected gold by now or at least a timeline to gold. It was all based on hope. The market now needs substance. If we see substance you will get your multi bagger. If you believe there will be commercial gold then hold for the prize if not bail..its actually very easy!!

The market awaits gold production (or at least a timeline). This is simple if you believe there is gold hold and you will make money if not move on. In terms of Greenland we are de-risked. We retain 54% but will not have Alba rights issues and dilution. Greenland will raise its own capital.

A real lack of understanding of what has happened. GROC will require lots of capital and specialised management. Alba would have been stuck managing something that is not its core skillset and we would have had massive dilution. Just look at UDOG to see what that leads to. This way we retain some ownership but GROC does its own funding. What Alba needs is to stop talking about producing gold and produce some or at least a credible timeline to 1st production. I have 27m shares at an average of 0.11 so I am still very happy here...but we need gold!

Happy the more you post the more you display a complete lack of common sense and business understanding. At $20 PB this was heavily indebted with little hope. Those buying at 7.5p were actually gambling. Then a miracle occurred. Governments decided to spend 5 times more money on Covid than the financial crisis. Then a 2nd miracle we got Vaccines 1 year earlier than expected. The result was that Great Depression no2 was avoided and oil shot up as demand normalized. The BOD have displayed sound sense in building a credible plan of reducing debt etc and focusing on assets of highest potential. Had they had the benefit of 20/20 hindsight they would have acted differently but with the POO last years and a debt mountain they were in a tight place selling to play for time. The bad news for you Happy is that all is coming good. The price of POO has rescued this company, tough luck Happy and good luck to the rest of us!!!

Head in the sand you post as if you have knowledge but sadly display very little. Angus have said that they have hedged what they expect to be circa 70% of their production. They have not hedged 70% of their production because that is not how futures work! They will have made a conservative estimate of their production then hedged 70% of that figure being certain to produce that actual amount of gas to satisfy the hedging contracts. This gives them a safety margin so that they do not under deliver. Clearly with gas prices currently elevated they will do their utmost to maximise production. DOH!

JD, I must agree with you about the old guard who got caught out continually knocking Angus. I am unconvinced about geothermal but believe that if SF can be got into proper production at elevated gas levels shareholders will do well from current levels. The £1 party has long since disappeared as have the 50p, and 25p parties. However, the 4-8p party is doable so for many here there is still hope. Fingers crossed.

Please forgive me but I find conversations built around the sp somewhat moronic. The real question is what mcap is reasonable here? For me 100-200m is doable making a 5-10 bag possible. The main issue here is geopolitical. Do not be surprised if AMC receive an offer that they are not allowed to refuse around the £50m mark. I strongly suspect that once this is proven to be commercially viable it will be bought out at a price higher than today but with the lions share of the spoils going to the Russian buyer. All IMHO

Cudd - I suggest you re-read my post. I was not being nosey! Also I do hold here but not as many as JT2nd. Again if you read my posts I have been here a while. I don't believe the £1 party will ever happen but can see 2-5p which will do me fine. I have no interest in what people hold but actually if anyone has there entire portfolio invested here they need lessons in investment. There are numerous companies that have excellent prospects of multi bagging. A smart investor diversifies - fact!
