Then being at the pinnacle of influence he does what millions have not done who followed his advice. It’s called taking the peeres. Arrogance and hubris, the Gods always punish for this. In the meantime everyone is now going to mix more freely and after the carnage that will bring we will have herd immunity with most old ones dead; an outcome, proposed by Cummings in late January at a speech, as being desirable for the economy. The fact that others behave badly is not an excuse for Cummings. In the meantime once we have been through all of this the world will have changed, ets hope it needs lots of tungsten.

NMH, evidently during Cummings’s visit the number of Covid cases shot up in Durham, so if he pulls up in a car and offers you sweets don’t get in with him; I reckon he is dodgy.

Very nice in the bog lands of Essex. Me foxgloves and cornflour look a treat. Even me bushes is having a flowering. Over the back the park and lake looks soothing. Motivation is sadly lacking though.

Troajan it’s cost me a fair few Bob for the boy. To get the deal I had to get him some money before chrimbo and done more since. It didn’t get finalised until March, what seemed a cracking deal looks a bit iffy to me now/ we could well get a house price crash. The house is 450 K so I hope it holds it’s price.
Strange thing the selling off, it’s always historically the best time to buy, but this virus is a strange one. Personally, my view for business is that it’s about surviving and coming out the other side, and if we don’t come out the other side because everything is snookered then whatever you do doesn’t matter anyway. So I am holding, no point in selling at these prices.

Dreaming, I agree with that. It’s my view too that PR opportunities have been missed. It perhaps could be because the focus and expectation was that we would be up and running and all would well. It’s certainly the case that there figures projected by targets that weren’t achieved. Very frustrating imho. I do think there would now be a massive PR opportunity, with the plant optimised and ramping up we should be in clover. However, the Covid thing hangs over the world, if we get through this period we should be wonderfully setup, particularly the USA market with its view in China at this time.
If there is pick up we need someone shouting from the roof tops, sentiment is a wonderful thing and as you point out it’s up to Wres to get PRto support that.

Hindsight is said to be the philosophy of fools. I don’t believe we are fools, mind you
we are perhaps ( speaking for myself) not prescient. The delays were costing us as Wres had to borrow more that didn’t do us good, bit these were not mountains, albeit annoying. However, to actually get to the production proper at exactly the time of the Covid outbreak cannot be laid down at the door of anyone’s poor decision making. Looking at Wres as an investment outside of these circumstances I think it’s still a good thing. From that perspective it should still come good although with a Covid hiatus. If the Covid goes onto destroy the economies of the world there are no investments worth much except perhaps gold.
