I think Potnak that is where the difficulty lies. I don't see as how it can be split up ie the separation of corid-19 and non corid-19 licensing. A company in my opinion would want the whole control. So much more now to negotiate in what type of deal to satisfy a particular pharma and to be accepted on what terms and conditions. Not a scientists ideal field of expertise. It will take time. I am sure we will hear something next week. What is Tim wanting and what are the buyers prepared to offer? Judging by the chart on the Sareum website anything between 10 and 300 million up front. That would not take into account best in class, oral availability and no toxicity. It is more than likely that after recent events others will be knocking on his door. Getting near to closing a deal and have contracts drawn up awaiting the formal offer, then another pharma turns up and wants to enter into negotiations. Tim has spoken of interested parties, not an interested party. A big hint there. It is easy for us to say Tim should do this and Tim should do that but for whatever he has done he has kept the good ship Sareum afloat.

That could very well be going on at the moment! Discussions and negotiation are in place for the licensing or sale of TYK2. It is the only commercially available, orally available and no toxicity. Indications are it may be effective in treatment for Covid -19 in the over production of cytokitones. I think I spelled that wrong but never mind. We ars a very small company and hence under the radar. The TYK2 is no longer under the radar. Regards

Under the terms of the Agreement, the Licensee has been granted an exclusive worldwide licence to develop, manufacture and commercialise certain small molecule inhibitors of FLT3+Aurora kinases including Sareum’s lead candidate SAR-20293 (together the “Compounds”), which has shown potential in preclinical models of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and other leukaemias.

Was the last patent application for TYK2 refused as was being already under protection of the Aurora FLT+3 compounds? Surely if not then is not protected by the Chinese owned patent and should therefore have no problem obtaining patent approval. Just a thought.

That patent approval I agree with you there RMM. It is a bugbear and they may have a little in difficulty getting it . I am not saying they cannot get the patent but not going to happen over night. This will have implications of course to the cost. Surely best to have 1801 and 1802 with the same patent times. It complicates things. One way around of course is for upfront payment and a considerable milestone payment for the granting of the new patent. It will be an extra 7 years at least. Even if the patent is not granted on this appeal you can then reapply ( can be very lengthy up to 3 years). Enough from me.

Significant clear opportunities! In my own honest opinion I can only interpret that there is :-
1. More than one company involved in discussions for TYK2
2. An opportunity to sell TYK2 wholly, licence it with upfront payment, milestones and royalties and anywhere in between the two.
If somebody sees or interprets this different then please explain.

Lutonnews, yes, It must be worth a billion at least, not including Covid-19. Good to see that Thoth is looking after his investments and removed the £1 a share stop. As they say, you have to be in it to win it!

Covid-19 will not be the last of a severe acute respiratory syndrome virus. Tests can be made comparatively quickly but, vaccines take much longer. The potential of TYK2 and Chk1 exist now more than ever in the treatment of cancers and inflammatory illnesses in the present market as so many major pharma competitors had setbacks.

The test is to see if you have the virus, not the symptoms or the signs.

That may well be an after hour buy, achieved through auction.
