RE: What is the chances2 May 2020 22:39
I certainly would not rule a placing out. However, what price would Sareum put on the placing? The share price is a little volatile at the moment. If a placing did take place, it would mean they would be taking it into clinical trials and that would be a massive boost as then in clinical trials and not pre clinical. That is a milestone in itself and feel sure it would not be such a bad thing.
I would be very interested as for what research purposes the DoD used Tyk2 for. DoD don't as a rule give away secrets. In addition there is also the problem with the granting of a new patent for SD 1801.
In my honest opinion talks are going on with regards to Tyk 2 but the buyer, whoever that may be, wants it on the cheap and or certain conditions with respect to pre clinical results and patents. There maybe more than one interested party. Unfortunately these discussions/negotiations take time. Are there attempts to strangle Sareum financially, pushing them into selling or licensing on the buyers prices and or terms.
However, with regards to purchasing or licensing a deal as a buyer would you not want to know first the conclusion of the results of the research into Tyk2 by the DoD? As for the granting of a new patent that would have massive impact on the price of purchase or licensing. Could Tyk2 be used as a successful treatment for Covid-19?. There are so many loose ends at the moment .
At the moment it does appear to me to be a bit of a waiting game for Sareum.
Sareum are still waiting for milestone payments for CHK1. Sierra really are dragging their heels ( a milestone payment would be enough to finance early stages of clinical trials on Tyk2).
I am sure we will hear something in the not too distant future.
Overall , I don't think a placing would be a bad thing, certainly not in the long term.
Back to my beer.
