It will eventually break 1.3p but may not be today. People will sell to get some money as times are not easy at the moment and many have been here years and may well skim a few shares off of the top. Who can blame them? As much as it can be unnerving I do not have anything against these type of sells as we all have an exit price. There will be day traders of course.
An RNS any day soon and you can kiss buying under 1.3p a share goodbye for good.

I take it you prefer to stay in the sub 1p price per share. The price now is still undervalued at circa 1.3p. Nothing ever goes up in a straight line. No pleasing some people.

On another note feel a bit sorry for that Jimmy c/womble who was looking to buy back in at 0.4 to 0.5p. If he don't hurry up he wont be getting in for 4 to 5p.

Good afternoon Ahfam, this is quite old now but is part of the info contained in the SKIL platform (Sareum Kinase Inhibitor Library). It will give an indication of the calibre of expertise that Tim and Co have at their hand.

An Rns for maximum tolerated dose and or results of a grant with regards to Covid 19 must be due any time soon. Of course we also await on developments with the Chinese with FLT 3 and SRA 737 with Sierra.

On 23 April 2018, an FDA Advisory Committee recommended approval of baricitinib 2 mg for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis but did not recommend the 4 mg dose, citing serious adverse events.[7] On 31 May 2018, FDA approved Barictinib for the treatment of adult patients in the US with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis who have had an inadequate response to one or more TNF antagonist therapies.[5][2'

No not 25 million for a grant, that is not what I put. The figure of 25 million was used as an example. The point I am trying to make is grants are not just given to companies because they ask for them. They will want some undertaking in advance. Look at the company in Harwell that had initial funding of around 60 million and now they are bringing the opening of the facility forward by 12 months have been granted another 93 million. It is claimed they can produce enough of a vaccine for the entire UK in a matter of a few months. How successful will this vaccine be? There are no guarantees that it will work. The Chinese have already claimed that there is a far deadlier version of flu in Kazakhstan. But this has not been confirmed yet.

My feelings on this is that Sareum will be discussions with potential co partners.
Firstly, How much of a grant are they asking for?
Surely this would be based on collaborative talks with potential partners, for example if it costs an estimated 25 million pounds to finance 1801 as an approved treatment for Covid-19 from whence is this figure derived and by whom? I can.t envisage Sareum making a figure up on their own.
Secondly, if a grant is made then the granters of the grant see potential in 1801 as a Covid treatment. If a grant is not made then Sareum have not placed a convincing application in, for which I doubt.
Leading to the point albeit an important one is, how much is 1801 worth if successful in being administered in the treatment of Covid-19?
Unless a degree of certainty is established then I don't see any reason why a potential partner or licensee will become involved unless sufficient evidence can be provided to demonstrate that 1801 can be developed for use as a treatment for Covid. A grant I feel would be one of the prerequisites.
If a grant were to be approved i gather it would have to have conditions ie Where will you obtain the remainder of the funds to complete the testing? Who from? Have you and a partner reached any agreement with regards to financing if a grant were made available?
These are just my thoughts on this and would welcome any input either positive or negative to this reasoning.

Remsdisivir forecast for 3.5 billion this year. Then maybe Gilead could use some of this to purchase SRA 737 from Sierra. Perhaps use to purchase a proper safe 2nd generation molecule Tyk2. Best out the hat is is to buy SAR completely for 3.5 billion. Tyk 2 1801 needs the grant and soon. A question to pose here :- How much have Sareum asked for? In formulating a price surely that would include development and partial funding by a third party pharma which Sareum would have to be in negotiation with to reach a ball park figure in the first place. Hence in my opinion if and when a grant application if successful, then a partner would announced in its development. With the increase of Covid 19 at the moment the MTD yet to be established for Tyk 2 then these negotiations with interested parties must be really hotting up. Chk 1 and Flt 3 also awaiting news on progress and development but a few more weeks down the line.

Good post RMM. Certain we will obtain a grant but as to how much anyones guess. I trust Tim has the facilities in place to be in a position to produce large quantities of the compound. Had not produced enough a short time ago to establish the MTD. Not a bad position to be in, however.

As I understand, the trials have finished but if there are patients benefitting from the treatment then the treatment will continue which just go to show the effectiveness of the Chk 1 inhibitor. This beneficial treatment has been going on for months now.

My interpretation of this patent is as follows:-
Flt +3 on its own, was originally granted a patent ( 2013 from memory could be wrong)
It is also allowed by sareum in their terms, that the undisclosed pharma can develop derivatives from this compound, ie a similar compound from the same family. This can lead to problems when a company tries to protect its intellectual rights and compounds, You only have to look at TYK2 with 1801 and 1802. Similar, but not identical compounds which are protected by the same patent. A new patent for 1801 is proving very difficult to obtain ( I will not hold my breath on this one).
Maximum protection of a compound by a patent is paramount to maximise the worth of the compound. The longer the remaining patent protection time the better.
I am pretty confident Sareum will receive the 900k in January as is Tim ( his last interview with the smooth aussie). Sareum does need the solubility issue to be resolved to receive the milestone payment, only for the Chinese pharma to continue development.

Flt+3 showed excellent A.D.M.E results in its early days. In addition, I will also add, that formulation issues prevented the manufacture of sufficient quantities, to establish a MTD. ( ie completion of toxicology studies) good tolerance of the candidate drug and no significant side effects seen.
Do not underestimate the value of this compound.

Last and not least Sareum own wholly Tyk 2 1801 and 1802.
Yes, it does take time for a compound to reach fruition as many of us here are aware and I have not been here as long as some. Final stages of negotiations takes months, many months. We can only wait for news. Our problem is we don't know when we will receive.
Our next information is due in October with regards to a grant for Covid -19. Care to put a price on that?
Three months ago things were looking good with regards to Covid. Current measures now put in place suggest that is no longer the case.
If Tim thinks that the Tyk2 1801 can target a cytokine storm better than other treatments used then so much the better. He is a chemist after all and not a salesman.
We all at sometime have been a peeved with Sareum.
Easier said than done, but patience will pay off.

That need get funding sorted, but will the guarantee any financial backers that monies raised will go on SRA737 and not squandered on that momelinib. Surely 737 has to be more commercially viable . It is the CPF who will apply pressure on to Sierra and who is to say they have not already done so?
