Looks very good to me - had a little top up this morning - expected more of a bounce.

Hate to ruin your theory but the reason for the fall in GTE s/p is that it is mainly traded on the Canadian market, and the whole Canadian oil and gas market is on the floor - GTE has done better than most.

No they couldn't, but why would they anyway. If Cavendish want out let them sell at the lowest price, it will bounce when they are finished (hopefully). I want more so they can take it down as far as they like.

Colonel Drake - you mention GTE tradeable on LSE, and not many trades. I don't know if anyone has tried to buy any GTE. I hold AMER, but tried to buy some GTE - whilst it appears to be tradeable here, the broker I use buys in the US, so you have to complete WEN8 or whatever its called, before you can buy. And the spread looks horrendous.

Has anyone had any similar experience, or is my dealer?

Can anyone tell me if I can but these in UK ? I know they are listed on TSX, but are they also listed here?

Oil and gas expert, yesterday Josef Schacter was tipping TXP in Canada as his small co. recommendation.

Sorry guys, I am happy to stand corrected.

I had a long drive back to York after the presentation, and just got thinking on the way "why would the company be interested in these minnows if it was going to be so big ..........." - I should have re-read the RNS.

It was a well attended meeting, and good speakers, listed as 6:00 to 9:00. Why some people walked in at quarter to seven, and one even at 7:00 beats me.

The assumption is that their is a massive deal with BP in the pipeline.

PW couldn't discuss obviously, but he referred tonight, to a number of smaller companies operating in the Egypt area, of which SDX is one, and that the logical progression would be a coming together of some of these companies at some stage.

Maybe we all jumped to the wrong conclusion re BP. Then again it was referred to as a RTO, so who knows.
