I found myself drawn to the Touchstone website yesterday afternoon, and went through the corporate presentation (dated November 2019). On page 14, re Royston, they say there was a drill in 1965 discovering 700 feet of gas "effect", which was never followed up.

Not sure what they mean by "gas effect", but presumably, this is why the cos on Royston is described as lower than the others, as the logging was never completed, by all accounts (in those days more interested in oil than gas). But presumably is why was Royston was described as the biggest potential. We already know that Cascadura found zones of 1000ft, far more than expected. and hence perhaps why Paul is getting a bit excited.

I am happy to sit and wait - also a big Liverpool fan - nothing is over the line until it is, but each week that goes by looks better and better.

Josef raising his short term target to 80c, that's 47p, but didn't mention the size of Cascadura, just the high pressures. Mentioned that Shell did a lot of drilling decades ago, and found plenty, but not big enough for their means, so plenty of data about for smaller companies like Touchstone to get a hold of.

Canadian markets having a terrible day today on oil and gas, so unchanged probably not bad.

Not ludicrous at all danawinner, it is all just a matter of time. No reason why it shouldn't be February.

I think there are a number of shareholders like us, with decentish sized holdings, that see this as a potential monster play, and are holding for the end game. If we all continue to hold, buying pressure will force the sp up.

And if Ortoire lives up to present expectations that could just be the catalyst for bigger things.

Don't forget, despite the rises of the last day or two, that the market cap of this little gem is still under £50m.

Taversham - the dividend is not cut it is maintained at 5.5p - just paid twice yearly at 2.75p. I think that is a good idea - as it stood once the dividend had been paid there was little incentive to hold, hence the drop over the last six months or so.

Surely that can be said about any share can't it?

What the company is worth purely on the Serenity success ?

If this turned out to be non commercial, and say they changed their mind about doing the next drill, we still have Serenity, so what do people think the value per share of that is, on its own - either developing or selling on, say to RRE? I am just trying to gauge whether it would still be worth holding for Serenity alone.

LuckCounts appeared here a month or so back when the sp was 16p, trying to raise concerns about politics in Peru/ CEO's previous role etc - he missed the opportunity and the sp rise to 25p, must have been catastrophic for him. Grabbing any opportunity to raise doubts in investors minds to get the sp back down now for a good entry point. Poor chap !!

For someone who has no interest in this share you seem to spend a lot of time posting your negativity.

Perhaps looking for another opportunity to get in cheaply as you missed out a few weeks back.
