Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The original message was " I wouldn't be surprised to get liquid test results just before Canada opens (which is 2:30)".
That was never likely to happen if Paul is in London at a conference.
Yes exactly, so he's not going to be typing out an RNS.
I would doubt it if Paul is in London at the Oil Conference, but what do I know.
???????
Are you on the right board Garnheim ?
Ha ha !!
You're a wicked man Trek.
Correct.
Some nice buys going through in Canada and nudged the sp up to 52c (30.5p).
Hold on to your golden tickets !!!
Is today the day we break the "30p" ?
Whether North sell into the rise is neither here nor there - there will be people buying in for the "story" and there will be others taking their profit and moving on. What we really could do with is institutional buying, but that is probably unlikely in todays market.
IMO abut half those "sells" are buys -hence no sp movement all day - had they all been sells then the sp would have dropped. They dropped the sp by 1/2p about half an hour ago looking to flush out weak holders - picked up 4015 shares and dropped it again.
Long and strong, long and strong !!
I'll keep my money here thanks.
TXP are proving up zones that were drilled successfully years ago and have the results and the data. Its not "if" but "how much", and so far looking extremely exciting.
BPC if they hit will be mega, but don't forget they did had an exclusivity agreement with a major some 18 months ago and ultimately they decided to walk away.
I have bought into drills and lost in the past, namely Namibia (CHAR) and others - my startegy is to wait, lose a few percent but not my shirt.
Up 8% at 50c. One or two chunky buys, 1 at 91k shares at 2 @ 48500.
We seem to be off to the races again.
And this is only testing one of the four zones encountered - the other 3 will be tested independently - that's an 80 foot, a 180 foot and a 600 foot zone still to do, just on Cascadura.
It could be a long and profitable exercise proving all this up.
Then comes the 700 foot of "gas effect" at Royston, with hopefully a few more surprises thrown in.
They aren't getting a single one of my shares.
Looks like the Canadians agree.
Opened up there down 3c, now up 2, at 49c.
I hope for small daily increases now until Cascadura update.
Fingers crossed.
Bit of nibbling going on at 28p - no one selling at these levels.
I found myself drawn to the Touchstone website yesterday afternoon, and went through the corporate presentation (dated November 2019). On page 14, re Royston, they say there was a drill in 1965 discovering 700 feet of gas "effect", which was never followed up.
Not sure what they mean by "gas effect", but presumably, this is why the cos on Royston is described as lower than the others, as the logging was never completed, by all accounts (in those days more interested in oil than gas). But presumably is why was Royston was described as the biggest potential. We already know that Cascadura found zones of 1000ft, far more than expected. and hence perhaps why Paul is getting a bit excited.
I am happy to sit and wait - also a big Liverpool fan - nothing is over the line until it is, but each week that goes by looks better and better.
Russell.
Josef raising his short term target to 80c, that's 47p, but didn't mention the size of Cascadura, just the high pressures. Mentioned that Shell did a lot of drilling decades ago, and found plenty, but not big enough for their means, so plenty of data about for smaller companies like Touchstone to get a hold of.
Canadian markets having a terrible day today on oil and gas, so unchanged probably not bad.
Not ludicrous at all danawinner, it is all just a matter of time. No reason why it shouldn't be February.
I think there are a number of shareholders like us, with decentish sized holdings, that see this as a potential monster play, and are holding for the end game. If we all continue to hold, buying pressure will force the sp up.
And if Ortoire lives up to present expectations that could just be the catalyst for bigger things.
