Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I take it you will be moving on, now that you have sold out.
Bon voyage.
... and RSE. And probably every other oil and gas company.
You are quite right Opulentia. Have to say I was expecting more of an uplift in the sp.
Onwards and upwards, its been a long time coming.
They only bought 70 - about £300 a piece!
Just tried to buy on both II and XO. Firstly, on II put in order for 5k - 86.7p to buy. Tried XO for 20k at same time - 91.7p. Reduced that to 10k and got quoted 86.7p. Bought that and then back onto II and got the 5k at 86.7p.
Happy with that, but still want another 5k, and they have upped the price to 87.6, will try again later.
Sure my two buys will go down as sells.
I contacted ii this afternoon by their securemail and someone named Nicola replied quite quickly to say they never do lend out stock.
I have sent an email to III requesting them to advise me if it is their practice to lend out nominee holdings. Will do the same with Jarvis and IG.
I like the idea of a group effort where we all club together on a certain day and place limit orders to cause the maximum damage to these .............!
I have watched it two or three times - entertaining, interesting and thought provoking.
However, there is a review of the film which is quite critical of some of the reporting - not all is as it appears.
Had a look at these over the weekend, after listening to Doc Holiday interview.
That is the question in my mind AllanC.
Another is that all the directors seem to be accountants - nothing wrong with accountants, I am one myself - but I would have expected more with geology backgrounds/experience in this type of industry.
I will sit and watch for now, and may jump in when the money for the capex is sorted.
Presumably this is where Premier Miton got their shares from last week.
I think we all get the message about concrete/cement.
Can we now change the subject please.
5 cents = 5.5% dividend yield?
More like 2% Bully, I think.
... and our first divis in early 2022 !!
So am I.
All very positive, exciting times ahead. More opportunities arising all the time.
Full steam ahead.
You have to pay up 100% by Friday, and then close all positions by 29 march. I don't get that. What difference would it make to them, and the difference it makes to us is enormous - if we had say another month that would straddle two tax years, which would help for CGT. Could you mention that to your broker?

This is a lonely board.
I share your thoughts, built a decent position a few months back myself, but nothing seems to move this share except share buy backs. I will hold for some action in the future. I like the fact that the big players here elected not to wind up and pay-out a few months back, so they clearly see something going forward. And most of them coughed up £10+ per share at the outset.

In your trading account, you must work out the gain or loss on each disposal. Then tot up your gains, tot up your losses and deduct one from t'other. Hopefully you have made a net gain. Deduct your annual allowance from this this, to get your chargeable gains. If you have any losses brought forward they can be deducted - but you must have notified HMRC of these - you have 4 years to do so.
The tax payable though is quite generous - 10% if basic rate taxpayer, or 20% if higher rate. Thats pretty good.
But the chancellor may change that in his budget next month. I have had a good year, like you, but mostly paper gains, and I will crystallise some of these gains over the next few weeks to get them on my tax return for 20/21 at these low rates, just in case he ups it next year. I can then buy back, or put into next years ISA.
Not offering advice, but worth considering.
Russell.
I have a decent holding in PRD as well, but also quite like the prospects of SAVE, and to a lesser extent PPC. Any of those could take off imminently IMO.

I have to say that after watching the presentation last night, I thought we were in for a nice rise this morning. Therefore surprised to see Canada down.
I am fully loaded here, but if any drop I will take the opportunity to grab a few more. I liked the mention of the zone under Royston which I haven't seen mentioned before. I think PB is pretty excited by it as well.
Well played Danawinner - noticed that its not showing up on the trades.
