Soleman, thanks yours, but can you spread bet on shares like PAL ? Years ago when I was more actively trading it was not possible go short on tiddlers on AIM as the market was too easily manipulated.

Good to see full ask now being paid. When I checked earlier this morning the spread was 0.698 to 0.55

161.64 is the best I can buy at the moment so I would assume the trade equivalent to 10 pints of bitter is a sell not a buy....

And now Norges Bank has declared an opening position of 4.5m and Investec 4.9m
I wonder what price they all paid ? And we will probably get shafted......

And maybe because the USA is planning introduce drug pricing legislation.

Must admit I don't understand the purchase of under £100 of shares. I appreciate people have different priorities but after dealing costs it is going to be tough to make enough to buy a couple of pints...

Suhail, You have certainly done a great deal of research, especially on the financial side. However before PAL c an make any decent profits it needs produce or buy more ffb. Recently the company proudly announced that it had increased the production of ffb to some 4000mt month. This means around 1000mt cpo a month or 12000mt a year.
The current price of CPO is around 2090 myr. In dollar terms this is just under $ 500mt. so sales are unlikey exceed $ 6 million per annum. They need more fresh fruit bunches.....

Even my broker is still a buyer at 2.60....

Not sure I really understand your question. I don't believe that KLK , if it does decide to take out PAL, has to bid at the same price as of their offer years ago as that can be deemed to have time lapsed. ( much as I, and I guess you, would love it !). I think KLK is now free to bid at whatever price they want. Frankly PAL is chickenfeed to them in terms of a take out cost.

Yesterday they wanted 177.5. this morning it was 167 and now I can buy sub 162 so at least the ridiculous spread has very much narrowed.

All your numbers are correct yet the company is capitalized at just £2 m. In my view it will exist as long as KLK want it to. My hope is that they take it out in the near future. rgds

today over 3.0 are purchases not sales. Broker quoting 3.059 to sell and 2.98 to buy. So, again, the sea of red is misleading.
