David. Since writing I decided ,for fun, to buy 100,000 just to see what happens.

my broker for less than 162 to buy irrespective of whether its 1000 or 10000 shares.

Am not worried Invest. I sold my 700,000 when the price spiked as it seemed daft not to. Don't think too many others, aside from the likes of bbr, soleman, suhail and adam, appreciated that this is a very small producer and will be lucky to produce 12,000 mt cpo a year. However I will buy back in again, probably quite soon the way prices are going, as in time this will be taken out by KLK. Watch for the next spike in 3-5 months time when they put together another cargo for export.. rgds to all

in selling my holding for £ 100. so, like others, might just as well mentally write it off whilst hoping some pharma with deep pockets takes it on. gla

Am not sure if all the investors who have recently declared have been in for any length of time or whether they have borrowed shares from the likes of Woodford who was the main player ahead of suspension with 86m shares. Possibly they could even have bought shares outside the market from Woodford at an arranged price. certainly some of the newcomers have not declared before ! ESL is a company with a great history and is seemingly still very well regarded in the industry so hopefully any bid will not be too painful for us.....rgds

Phil. Interesting to see that as the amounts got bigger , and later in the day, that the selling price actually increased slightly. Anyhow this morning we are back to 2.44 if you are buying

Yup, just one trade...wonder how much money was made on a £ 30 trade ? Beats me why anybody should bother , likewise the person who keeps buying 500 shares. I've heard of accumulating slowly but........

Well Phil they gave us the interims last year when the news was pretty negative so I would have thought with the better production and the cashews coming along then they have a good reason to let us have the first half update soon.
Nice purchase today but it seems we are still stuck in the 2.44-2.31 rut
