I should have bought this morning and then sold out just before lunch. Then bought in again when the price fell to 2.04 Now to buy I need pay 2.28 and can get 2.11 if I sell. Instead all I have done is watch the ruddy price go up and down like a yo-yo with absolutely no news to warrant any changes.

See what a little concerted buying can do..
On opening today my broker quoting 1.75 to sell and 1.625 to buy.
As of 1130 its 2.26 to sell and 2.0 to buy
I should have turned a few hundred thousand. Hindsight !

well the spread is certainly not helping trade. 171 to buy and 158 to sell. This is just too wide and more like a penny stock.

Looks like the brokers have convinced some of their regular investors that DKL is undervalued and encouraged some buying. Long may it continue...

Well, somebody either got bored or bought the wrong stock. in with 2321 shares at 171 and out a short while later at 158.25. Not you '' getting the hang of this investment lark '' was it JL ??

Some 100 trades with a total value of just £20,000 with twice as many buys as sells and we are down 5%. Are people buying to put the certs in their Christmas crackers ?

Still no sign of my trade. Best I can get this morning is 0.95 to sell. To buy its 1.20

somehow my broker has managed to sell a part of my sell limit order (timed at 1606) at above the price of the spate of buys reported late this afternoon....namely 50000 at 1.20
When I tried sell the balance at 1610 the best price I could get was 0.92 which I declined. Weird !

But Dibs you are correct in what you say. Any interest sends the price 'rocketing' and then a few sales and we plummet. At 0830 this morning my broker was quoting 1.425 to sell and 1.20 to buy ( but only tiny amount 20000). As of 0930 the prices were 1.190 and 0.92
That's a pretty sizable swing in just one hour, and shows just how alert you need to be to make money in PAL. I certainly missed out this time !

And the mm's want to make as much as they can....

spread is too wide and not helping trade. Often the spreads shown by LSE are not correct but in this instance they are spot on. Could not buy under 172 yesterday and the selling level is 158.

Nomura. Same today 10 trades at 1343.00 and another 15 at 1506.52
Wonder how the broker decides which of its customers gets the better price...

I hold shares in PRU. They are selling off many of their investments, maybe switching the holdings to MNG, as am getting dozens of RNS daily advising of their sales.

So maybe about time for a dozen or so small identically priced purchases which we have seen happen regularly over the past 6 months.

Think your guess would be as good as mine if not better.....
Cannot see their income exceeding $ 5 million based on current output and CPO at around $550mt and this before any costs incl debt repayments etc but happy to be corrected or convinced I am too low....

And it only takes a couple of small sales to reverse the upward trend....
