Good point JL but remember the DKL numbers shown on Morningstar of a daily average of 520k are hugely distorted by the recent placings. Often days go by without hardly any trades, much like REA. Remember too that MPE is worth some £ 368m whereas DKL is a tiddler at just £ 11m. REA is four times larger than DKL. And DKL is four times larger than PAL !

No not me. My broker has steadily increased prices throughout the day. quoting 115 on opening and the latest 117.74
Has increased his buying price too from 110 to 112.35 so out of line with all these programmed sales

JL. Strange in that my brokers price ideas have increased since opening today. He now wants 116.56 (up from 115) and is a buyer at 111.44 ( up from 110).
Maybe broker dropped the price to catch some limit sells because there is a large buy to fill.

Strange that nowhere on any recent RNS can I find details of their nomad, stockbroker or public relations. Anyhow i phoned Rea but the person I spoke to was not aware of the recent trades. Was told their broker was Mirabaud (02031677000) and the boss Selina Tyler , who presently 'unavailable'. Will keep digging because 20 trades in a minute is unusual for this company.

So Aris has bought another 4.66m shares taking him to just under 5pct of the company.
In view of the recent board and Agdevco purchases at 3.27 it is hard to understand why the share price continues to slide.

LSE today showing in its summary of trades that no shares have been bought ? They then list 766000 purchased.

managed to buy into this company. So the 3000 trade is a buy not a sell. Hard to get a sensible quote ( at least from my broker)and maybe this is deterring potential buyers. Now am wondering if China does 'prevent' imports of American soya how this will affect demand and pricing of CPO in this area. Any thoughts ?

Broker quoting me 3.09 to buy and 2.92 to sell. Hence the price in the uncrossed trade last night.

For the oil palm they use a general npk fertilizer for the early season and mop later in the year. Sifca, the biggest cpo producer with close to 70pct of the total CI production, lost heavily last year. Think the figure was $ 17m.
The main competitor on cashews is going to be Olam, with whom Youval says they enjoy a good relationship. Olam is essentially half owned by Tamasek ( Singapore Govt) with Mitsubishi having about a 20pct holding. Olam holds a stake in Sifca together with Wilmar thru Nauvu.

At the moment some 500,000 mt raw cashews are shipped from the CI to Vietnam for processing annually. Maybe in a couple of years time we will get some at the AGM...
