I find this very strange Today !

Copper futures are down
Kitco Copper price down
Other Copper miners are also down

Kaz SP is Up almost 1% !!!

Something cooking in the background, or just pure luck ?

I think Copper price has bottomed (for now), and there seams to be a gradual improvement and a very gentle movement upward.

I also think that most of the shorters hit their targets, and as the G20 approach, they will close their positions.

IMHO, I would expect KAZ SP to gradually climb towards £6 by end of next week.

Of course, I might be wrong, as I was many times in the past :)

Well, wait until the copper supplies starts to get tight, and see what will happen !!

I don't care how many shorters are out there, because when reality hit, then it will be a Quick turn around.

Just a Human mass behaviour ! (Just like the movie "Trading Places" )

I think the SP rise of a 6.5% is a proof that KAZ is a solid Performance compared to other Copper miners, were their rise today was just about 2.5% on average.

It is also a proof that KAZ SP has a great potential to rise further more .

I reckon that the timing of this move by China is perfect for the upcoming G20

The US and more importantly Trump will see this as a concession by the Chinees, and will move fast to take advantage and make a deal, and I am sure now after Xi comments (see the Article) , that he will have a meeting with Trump to sort things out.

If this happens (80% probability) , then I would expect fire works in Copper Price, and Kas SP.

I agree with you regarding Copper Price bottoming out, and lets not forget that the G20 meeting is approaching fast, there will be speculators who want to start taking positions on copper just in case something positive comes out if Trump have a meeting with Xi.

I personally think that they will come out with something, specially if they have another Steak Dinner together and become best friends again !

This agreement also will serve as a message to China to say "If we have an agreement, then we call off the Tariffs "

I am sure it will have an impact on the situation with China, and will make people think in a more positive way to resolve the current Trade War.

Thanks for your kind post, and I am so sorry for the bad news regarding your brother-in-low , and I hope he fully recover very soon.

I am over 60, and at this age, things can happen overnight, and suddenly without warning.
I actually thought at one point that was it , and yes, I was scared, also thinking about family, and many other things that we usually forget in our busy lives.
It was a wakeup call to say what exactly you just said in your post "Take It Very Easy".

So, I am now going to focus on Health, and keep stress levels down, and as you said, hopefully Kaz will start the gentle road to recovery, and I will not hurry in my thoughts, will just accept whatever time it takes, knowing that she has always recovered into new highs.

I actually thought at one point that the Checker Flag was going to be waiving at me to end my race, but it didn't happen, and I am still KBO, As you said :)
Maybe still got enough for few more laps !

It would have been dissapointing to kick the bucket before I cash and spend my profits from Kaz, but that's cant happen anyway right now, I think I will have to wait a bit longer .

I hope we all hit our targets, and enjoy the profits soon

I fully agree with you, I don't think an agreement between US/ China will happen any time soon until they both runout of options.
And, yes, what will happen now is both of them will try to improve their Economies in a way that doesn't depend on the other to the extend that we see now.

So, US will be looking to source Rare Earth , and to what you mentioned ( 2T Infrastructure plan), and maybe good trade deals with UK/ Europe.
China will be looking to offer a massive Stimulus to lift their economy growth figures, and will be looking for new partners for trading.

All that will help Copper price, and I think what we see now is maybe the bottom price for copper this year
I think the Market have prices all that in.

Lastly, I would like to thank every one here for your kind messages to wish me well
I am feeling much better now (I can eat again), and scan results came back without any nasty findings.
I just need to take it easy, and don't let the emotions of the ups and downs of this wild share to get to me.

I am humbled, and overwhelmed by your sincere and kind words, which I really appreciate.

I am making "progress", seen one specialist, and will see another next week, plus MRI, Blood tests, and others to come.

I have learned 2 hard lessons in the last few weeks :

1)Be Patient, and dont by into a falling stock too quickly.

2) Health is more important than all the money in the world.

Hopefully the price to pay will not have lasting effects !!

Hey @Hash, well done on your great trades.

On the other hand, I have High Blood Pressure, and ended up in hospital last weekend :(
All because of tension and stress I had in the last 2 weeks.

I am taking it easy now, and will just not do any trades until it is back to around £7 level.
