Looks like copper is breaking out from the last downtrend on the daily chart
If this continue, then we will be looking at $2.8/lb or more very soon.

It is all happening, and very fast !!

Would be nice if we close above £4 by the end of play today.

We need to climb above £6 for a breakout of this downtrend, hopefully by the end of the year with the help of a Santa Rally !

When copper was $3/lb back in 8/17 , Kaz was £7.50
After the announcement for buying Baimskaya the Kaz SP dropped, but then gradually did rise again.
When Copper was $3/lb again in 4/19, Kaz was £7.45 again.

So, I see that the SP didn't really get effected by the decision to buy the Russian mine !

In this case, when copper rise to $4/lb again (it will for sure), then I would expect Kaz SP to be around £17 - £20
Also don't forget that the production will be much more that what it is now
And, when this happens, then Kaz will be in the FTSE 100 again , Which is even a better prospect.

Now look at the chart below again to see where it will go when it beaks out upward !

IMHO , there is a Descending Triangle pattern formed now on the daily chart.
If we break out , then we will have a rise to £7 +
Don't forget that 90% of trades are done by computers, and they are programmed to read and follow all these patterns.

I don’t think copper prices will get lower , considering , the shortages , strikes, etc..
And the Trade Ware becoming old news.
I also think the bears had their feed , and will start closing the short positions soon.
I reckon that things will be stable and flat for a while before Waring parties come to their senses , then copper price will take off big time .
So, it is a wait and see game now !

I hope the next move in the Trade Ware will be from China with a massive Stimulus plan that will kick their economy into gear , and put their copper demand to the same level as it was before.

From past experience , it usually takes a day or two for traders and investors to read, discuss and fully understand company results.
So, I would expect this will happen to KAZ, and hopefully we will see a rise in the next few days.

All we need now is good Broker Rating to Confirm.

I keep hearing and reading about new car manufacturers starting their own brand Electric Cars, and it is getting more and more, not a novelty any more.
I reckon by next year we will see a major change in the Cars manufacturing, some sort of a transformation to electric.
I am sure the smart money will be invested on copper in a big way soon.

I reckon there will be some tough resistance at £6 , but once crossed, then it will be a fast climb to £7 and beyond.
