Kaz shifting UP the gears now !
My take on this late afternoon movement is that the news from the South American mines are getting worse, and there is a change of sentiment about the copper world production, so shorts been closed, and long positions are starting ready for next week.

IMHO, I think next week we will see a big rise in Copper, and of course Kaz will follow.

Just looking at the daily chart for Kaz :
If we consider the downtrend from April, then we have a Breakout upward
As a confirmation, then we can consider the downtrend from August last year, and would happen if we cross and stay above £530.
Not long to go !

I think we can see the light at the end of a long tunnel !
Copper is moving up and holding, specially after reports of production disruptions in South America.
If it carry on to 2.7 , then we will have a Breakout that will take it to 3 and more.
On the other hand, KAZ is in an excellent position to ride high on any copper upward movement.
IMHO, if things carry on like this , then we will have a huge “Gape Up” to fill as a result of the big drop last August.
This Gap Fill can take up easily to £7 or £8

Hi Auto,
I was reading about this, and what they say that this value ( PE) could be used as an indication of the investors confidence in a company .
So , a high PE would indicate that Investors are speculating that the share price will be much higher than the earning , because of their confidence that the company will do very well in the future .
And Vice Versa !
I used to be confused about it also until I came across that article about it.
I hope I explained it clearly.

Thanks for your valuable comments, which I fully respect.
I am just trying to think while I am in the shoes of the negotiating sides, they both know that their economy is hurt, and there is a huge political pressures to save their own futures.
So, they have a chance now, maybe the last chance !
If it was me, I would say "I want to live today, and fight another day", so lets make an Temp. deal now to save the day , and later on I try to make a final deal to save the re-election.
That is what I would do if I was on the US side.
On the Chinees side, they can see that there are warning signs of slowing economy already happening, and some sort of a deal plus something else (maybe a stimulus) would fix the problem for now.
So, I would say they will be interested in a deal too .
Lets wait and see if they will be wise to have some sort of an agreement before it is too late.

Morning All,
I have been reading allot about this, and IMHO, I believe that both sides will want to make some declaration of a victory before the year end.
Therefore, I believe that there will be an “Interim “ agreement, where the Chinese will buy more agriculture products from the US, and in return, the US will hold on hiking tariffs on Chinese imports.
If this happens ( likely), then we will have a good rally in commodities, including Copper.

I find this very strange !
LME Stocks are going down
AND Copper Price is also going down
So, who is buying all this copper, so the stocks go down like this

Didn't see this one before !!

I would expect the price to suddenly go sharply up at one point soon, if this carry on.

Not sure why the big rise this morning !

Rastuss : Yes I know, the price has been sliding a bit, but still, it is a good price that most of the share holders would be happy with, Specially those who bought at around 380 .
I believe if the Trade Talks with China get sorted by the end of this year, then we will hit this target by early next year.
That is almost 100% profit from todays price.

I think KAZ is Back On Track, and Agile in moving Up when the Market moves.
This is an indicator of a Change In Investors Sentiment , which is very good.

IMHO, I think the big investors have started to understand the strategy behind acquiring Baimskaya, and the huge benefits that will follow.

Copper Futures reached $2.61 /lb, and just Breaking Out of the long down Trend going back to 4/19
If this continue, and confirms the breakout in the next few days, then I would expect Copper to rise to $2.8/lb

That means KAZ would also follow to around £7

I think the Baimskaya news has reached the investors (maybe not all of them yet), and that is why the nice rise today.
Copper is Up, but I would expect it to push Kaz only about 2%, and we are now up around 4%, so the news are working their way around the Market.
I reckon there is much more rise to come, once the big investors fully understand the scale of the operation at Baimskaya.

Also , on the other hand, Copper is making great progress, the futures crossed the $2.6/lb mark and holding, so that is a change in sentiment. It wil Def. help us too.
