It is a very good deal and with the lower SP not as many shareholders will jump ship when it delists hopefully. I will be about break even at 16p so I will hold for a while and see how it develops. A mid tier miner in 5 years would give me a nice pension.

I'm not trying to talk them down just stating the reasons why the price is at this level. With additional transformation costs over the next 5 years it is likely that they will make a loss next year.

I'm afraid it's you that needs to read the report and more importantly understand it. From the 53 weeks they actually made 544m however you need to deduct transformation costs of 133m, specifics and pension of 157m and tax of 66m which leaves actual profit of 175m.

They are not undervalued. They made 175m profit last year and the new reduced divi will take up 150m next year plus they are going to need more transformation costs next year so will probably be posting a loss next results.

The consolidation doesn't take place until re admission.
