My understanding is that any dividend which has been postponed to be paid at a later date WITHIN the FY of the cancelled dividend payment date will be paid to those who have held shares on the existing ex dividend date.
Although this will ONLY occur if within the financial year in question.

Does anyone know if there is any signifucance to this in the abesence or postponment.

I am optimistic about the trend upwards and the SP going north in the not too distant future but I have to confess this will continue its drift slowly downwards in the next week or two as I dont have hopes for any changes to the Geo-political situation.

I personally think if we spent the same amount of time and effort discussing poly we would learn a lot from each other on this board.
Talking about the war is getting a bit monotonous and quite frankly is counter productive to the aims and purpose of the very good contributions made by some excellent posts from FA,Jeremy,Old trader, Lat and so on.
This board will be reduced to nothing if we carry on in this manner.

Folks let's end this talk about war and everything to do with it .
There are bigger brains than ours looking for solutions to this.
Let's concentrate on poly

These shares provide excellent dividends as well as small growth as a bonus.

I hold a sizeable chunk here and in POG(52k} Pog average 1.45,poly average 202.

If you have to put your finger one only one factor to turn around the fortunes of POLY and lower its risk rating.
What would it be. ?? Sanctions,The War or something else.
I ask you this because as an IFA you must have mitigated the risks with your own assessment'

I think its plain ignorrance of other peoples opinions and beliefs to filter out anybody.
As long as one keeps to the t&c's of the board and is a relevant topic for discussion its fine by me.
So pete if you can read this you can do what you like. Its your choice

I agree NGC with every thing that you say but the facts on this board reveal that members are discussing about more irrelevant and complete gibberish subjects which have nothing to do with POLY.
Wether we can agree that in this case charting and TA can help analyse the trend with this stock is debateable.
But at the very least it is in some ways related to POLY.

There are two reasons for this:
Most of the volatility in the SP is now coming to a slow end as investors now realize this is a LTH.(This is confirmed by the low trades)
Secondly as the financials and he AGM/RNS show that this is a solid investment most RI have filled up to their eyeballs and now are just biting their fingernails.

I am open to listen to everyone's views and opinions. I have always said no amount of ranting, ramping or deramping here is going to make any difference to the SP. The reason I asked the question was to get an opinion about wether this is the best time to top up. Its as simple as that.

Lyndon like you I was expecting around 300 after the AGM by late afternoon yesterday.
Does anyone here feel the SP is kept below somehow by some some sort of manipulation or otherwise.
