True I totally agree but someone other than the two sides at war should now spear head the efforts to offer mediation and constructive dialog for peace and I cant see that happening constructively without US and UK and others in europe helping to achieve this.

The reality is sinking in now that the Parade has gone and VP hasnt given any signs of declaration or bowing to pressure.
Perhaps this is a reminder to all those who thought this will be a short swift affair that this isnt the case.
The outlook for POLY and others like POLY now lies in the hands of the western nations who can ultimately decide how and when is a best time time to bring all concerned together to start urgent peace negotiations. without a draft on any kind of peace proposals in the very near future I can see this drifting and stagflation going on for a few months.

If they were going to do (sanction) it would have been on the top of their list weeks ago.

Point number 1: Poly is not a russian company and Point number 2: Poly is registered in Jersey. but is only listed on the MOEX. and of course LSE.

How many times do we have to say this.
If we can agree that both sides are ready for neutral states to mediate this should be done and dusted. (At least partially if not completely.)
The main focus should now turn to the west to find mediators and stop the unnecessary lives being lost.

From Ukraine and Zelensky's perspective an occupation of any kind in the war is not acceptable .
He has said on various occassions that until the russians start a withdrawal there can be no forward peace proposals.
This is something that needs external intervention now which brings me to my previous post for neutral countries to intervene.

Having read some comments here and read some articles from independent sources i think both sides are ready for a deal to get this war to end with a face saving formula.
I think that the EU is not helping matters by threatening more sanctions and quite frankly if they do decide to review sanctions (They have done this six or seven times)the russians might feel they are in a very stcky and awkward position.
This could end up prolonging the conflict . History tells us that the wars in Euriope have never been short.
It is therefore absolutely important that we get neutral states like Hungary and Bulgaria and Turkey and even China involved to come forward now and negotiate a deal.

Yes this looks like the real end game approaching slowly but surely.
If this stays blue tommorrow than there is every chance the stagnation is coming to an end.
This the right time when serious Long term holders need to fill up their boots as I dont think there will be a better opportunity. So folks once again dont stay on the sidelines. Think hard and take the dip while it lasts,.

No I am not talking about traders or any day hoppers.
I know that a lot of RI's would invest in the hope of making something in the short term because they dont simply see any long term prospects of holding for say a year.It is these people I am talking about. For these investors if the SP dropped a decent divi would be a consolation. Thats all I am trying to explain

Not everyone here is investing LONG like you and me and it seems those investing for Divis will feel preety hard done by.
I dont care about the Divi myself as my intentions in making this work for me are totally different. I do see that short term investors who see this stock not as a long term hold might see your point of view differently.
If the Divi had been paid out perhaps the Sp would have taken a short tem dip is totally understandable and may have affected the LTH.

I dont think the BOD and others involved in making this decision would actually change the ex divi date and forget all those invested till the existing date and beyond. I think common sense will prevail and they will come up with a solution which is
fair and creditworthy.
