I dont understand this hype about the RNS.
Most of the serious holders here knew that a Divi postponment was more likely on the cards.
It is goos for the company to hold more cash reserves at the present time IMHO.

Problem is that the west have openly said they don't want to rely on Russian Gas and Petroleum.Some of them have even suggested and are in the process of seeking alternative sources. The Russian economy has very little else to offer the west apart from these two mentioned commodities. So its going to be a case of "we call the shots". If the opec+ countries are making agreements with individual countries to double their production to meet demand than it will be easier for the west NOT to lift the sanctions quickly.

A lot has been said about how quickly this will rise to 600 or even 700.
Given the scenario at present this is not possible as the sanctions will remain until such time as the west gets to hold someone responsible for the atrocities and crimes committed during the invasion.
The ICC is even today still prosecuting past leaders who have committed war crimes (Rwanda and Yugoslavia as two examples). That being the case, IMHO I cant see sanctions being lifted quickly and as for the SP it may hit 400-450p on a peace agreement announcement nothing more.
For those who are investing for the long term ( I am one) I would say as I have always said in the past Patience is the word.

I bought EVR latpulldown (12k) and i still think it could be my best investment once the dust settles.
I also hold POLY and POG but if i am being honest the best is yet to come from EVR.

POG has shown a a bullish start this morning despite all its assets in Russia.

It would be too bullish to expect $1 per year as a divi.
If the price settles from its current volatile moves.
A divi of about 70p is more realistic with the SP around 600p

DIVI OR NO DIVI.
This stock is one in a million.There will always be marginal corrections. Its gone up 250% since the war started.
Just see it rocket back up. All you need is patience.

It all depends how undervalued the stock is.
This stock is undervalued by a huge margin.
If the company doesn't pay a divi it would have affected the SP under normal circumstances.
That's all I am trying to say.

Quite frankly as far as the SP is concerned the divi wont make a big difference.
This share is undervalued vastly and what really matters is the outcome of talks between the two sides.
If the outcome of talks has a positive direction this is only going one way and that's up. Divi or no divi.
