This is exactly the kind of protests we will be witnessing more and more in Europe.
Its only a matter of time before the public realise how this is costing them and damaging their own economies due to rampant inflation and recessionary pressures caused by th war and lack of basic essentials.

Russia should have never attacked UKR. 100% agreed. Now lets look at the REALITY.
The beast is already in the house. Do you try and fight him off knowing full well that he may destroy you further or do you take a step back and rethink your strategy???
This talk of a full scale war with Russia is a non starter. The first thing that the west ruled out was to put boots on the ground and make it worse.
The western economies have got many of their own problems to resolve in fact too many to mention here.
No western country can afford to keep supplying arms and aid forever. This is absolutely true.
Russia is selling and exporting despite sanctions which we were told will tear their economy within months.
That was wishful thinking in my opinion.
So sometimes you have to settle for peace and keep moving.Its not the ideal solution for Ukraine or Russia as both expected to achieve more.
When the recession bites and inflation hits 12% towards the end of this year the masses will be asking wher on earh and why are we supporting joe bloggs down the road when our own are queing at food banks in the cold winter.

Hope the stoltenberg statement echoes all over Europe and especially to some egoistic warmongers that there is no option but for peace to prevail long or short term.If this is true i can see a halt to more advanced weapons entering the theatre of war and a cessation of death and destruction which can only be good for mankind.A peace process in the making.

We cant accuse UKR or Russia and start saying the war started because of this and that.
If we want PEACE we have to face the REALITY and concentrate on the situation NOW.
Western leaders need to spend more of their cash at home and support their own folk and start peace talks urgently
IMHO.

The west has invested in arms and various other ways for too long and the talk is of investing even more rather than holding back.It is estimated that if UKR joins the EU on a "fast track" basis it will cost The EU 35billion. We in the west UK and USA and others have given 50 billion in Arms and other forms of assistance.
The russians on the other hand are earning 1 billion a day from their fossil fuel exports despite sanctions.
So the russians are satisfied that this situation can extend even longer and UKR feel as long as they keep getting assistance despite the fact that they themselves are bankcrupt they can continue fighting.
Something has to give. Either we get to a situation where the russians cant get to export anything or the UKR stop getting
arms and aid.
As for POLY the only solution would be a split of the assets to keep the shareholders with something.
At the start of the war the Rouble was 110 to the dollar.Nowadays its half that. If Russia is not getting its exports through the sanctions why has the currency got stronger???

But if you want to look for peace and not war,conflict and death/destruction you have to start somewhere.

Anyone now believing this war is ending soon is now deluded.Wth the western leaders now in constant visits to ramp up arms and training and assistance including a speedy process to admit UKR in the EU means that even if diplomacy was given a chance at this stage the russians wouldn't have any choice but to reject peace talks. Not a good outcome for all invested here particularly those who started the ride before the start of the conflict.Peace can only be achieved if there is some common ground on both sides to work towards a peace agreement.
As I have mentioned before if arms shipment continue the cycle of destruction and death continues and I cant see this abating.

Hats off to you mate. I think its a real lesson in that for all here who have bought for sub £2 and are worried your post actually shows how many have bought at pre war prices and are still in fighting spirit. Good on you mate.
I think POLY will flourish and its as safe as a ftse 100 company but for the folks who got in very early it will be a longer wait . than normal.

I dont think anyone can accuse the BOD of trying to somehow "keeping silent" .
The board are duty bound to inform all matters to the investors if in their opinion it is essential.

Exactly. Except that some of us base or judgements based on reality and not "emotional " wishful thinking.
There is a very very minute number in this world who dont feel sorry for the defending Ukranians in this given situation but most of us know that that solutons need to be found and just living in hope that somehow this is going to sort itself out is just wishful thinking.
