It just amazes me how many folk try to keep knocking this down and yet the SP keeps jumping back.
This is a trend that will continue for the medium term but those that have a genuine stake here know fully well this was to be expected. I have quite a large holding and am staying in for the long term. The company has been battered to a certain degree by the geo-politics but it is in a strong position otherwise.
Keep on deramping. Doesnt make any differnce or change anything.

As most here are under the strong opinion that a good Divi can be paid from the kaz assets alone I wonder how many have considered that the holders on Moex will be entitled to a divi as well.Wether the divi is calculated from Kaz profits alone or not is irrelevant.As all shareholders will have a stake this makes it somehow difficult for the BOD to decide their direction and progress in this matter.

Just keep on with the deramping/ramping as much as you can. For the LTH this is still a bargain unheard off.

Its all well and good to say the company is not in any way going to be affected by any sanctions or will be trading as normal in the not too distant future.
YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF why then did the sp fall the way it has done and what are the long term implications. While i agree that poly is in much better shape to ride the impending storm I also agree with some that irreparable damage will have been done due to the geo-political situation and the circumstances which are beyond the management control.
This will take a long time to bounce back regardless of the decisions taken bu the BOD and hopefully the LTH will see some light at the end of the tunnel. Its just that the tunnel is way too long and patience is the key.

None of the ranting and name calling or deramping is going to g to do anything to the SP here.
This company has already proved it can withstand all the pressures and Geo-political incidences over the last six months.
It will take off later if not sooner. SO JUST MAKE SURE you are a LTH.
That is a frank and best way I can put it.

Dont be naive and think this is on a roll. It will take time bt than if you have waited this long a few more months wont hurt.

TBH this never really took off and has been stagnating for quite a while . I wouldn't bee surprised if it hit circa 5p by tommorrow. On the other hand you could buy and ride out the storm.

I am certain that the BOD will have the interest of shareholders on LSE at the top of their agenda and there isn't anything I have seen till now that makes me feel otherwise. Likewise If they sell the russian assets they will have the interest of shareholders on MOEX. It therfore remains to be seen how the split will be done and as nearly 60% of the assets are in russia it could be very challenging.

Inevitably there wiill be some short term selling as is the case with any stock but the general trend is good momentum north.
Dont forget this is a top FTSE 100 mining company (and i believe still is). If i had any extra cash would have been in adding more yesterday. Its a 3x bagger on present estimates IMHO.

You ain't seen nothing yet. This is for the derampers who havent smelt the coffee.

Yeah I seem to remember reading the same article before. IF the BOD get their act together and make some anouncement re: the split or some positive trading update that is what is required to get the SP movng north IMHO.

You got it spot on. There are some who basically talk a lot of C*** and he is one of them. This ought to do even better than what it is now and sooner or later it will start going north IMHO. Patience is the key.

Now the question is with the situation as it is will Amigo raise the required amount as with the economy on its knees and a recession on the cards most would think borrowing was the last thing they would want to get involved in.

I didn't say sacrifices do not have to be made. All i am saying is that a sanctions plan needs to be carefully and intellectually imposed which doesn't give any chance for the Russians to bypass them so easily.

I am sometimes totally amazed by the decisions the EU is taking in imposing sanctions. When oil and gas was sanctioned it hit us in the west as we are totally insufficient in both. It put India and China at a generous advantage as they started mega deals for Russia to supply both at ridiculously cheap prices.This arrangement actually improved Russian exports instead of reducing them to a trickle.The same thing could happen with Gold. The sanctions on Gold will mean the rest of the BRICS countries cashing in on cheap Russian gold and once again the price will shoot up making Russia a solid exporter of Gold.While we in the west will see the price of Gold up which is not benefiting our demand.

Uk could stop supplying gas to Holland and Belgium if Russia stops gas supplies to the EU.
Russia has maintained it doesn't want to be paid in EUROS or DOLLARS as it wants to protect th ROUBLE.
The UK meanwhile says it needs the gas for its own domestic us in case of shortages.
Europe again showing how fragile its unity is.

All stocks are south in the last few weeks and Poly will also be so relatively.
The recession fears are now biting and the impact of high Inflation/Stagflation is going to stay for a while and the investment outlook is grim. Cash is king at the moment and there are some real bargains to be had if one looks around.
For those invested here IMHO I would say hold on and ride the storm as this is not a criris within POLY itself and a bit more adjustment might be on the way.
