I think the main obstacle now is for a fair outcome from the CP.11 saga. Once this is out of the way hopefully in the not too distant future we can see some light as to what future there is for the equity holders. The RNS didn't specifically bring anything new to what we know already so there's a lot more to come but for those still invested here and holding their nerve its going to be a good long wait which will be worth it.

Well to be perfectly honest the one's who are still holding this are those that have faith and think that someone out there will bid for the second biggest cinema chain in the world. Secondly, many also feel the family who partly own this chain aren't going to give it away for nothing. Its as simple as that IMHO.

We have seen this go down many a times and this won't be the last. But there is a certain amount of resilience in this one and IMHO this could still find itself back to 3 or even 4 on Monday. Lets see.

There are too many theorists here all trying to support one or the other outcomes.
The main point is the RNS didn't give anything new and whatever was in it was common knowledge to many invested here.
Unless we have some news coming soon and I think we will the rest is just a wait and see game and that is the best one can hope for.

Remember the shows not over. This will carry on in more or less the same way till we get some info from the Ch.11 ruling or we get a firm bid and details are revealed about the outstanding debt and how this is going to be resolved.

Its fair to point out that none of the forty bidders have shown any interest in the US or UK sectors of the company and this could mean that the bidders could potentially bid and consider the purchase of sectors of CINE they are most likely to see as profitable.

That's all well and good Psmta if you have a fair portfolio and you average out generally.. But by the looks of some of the posts here you have to feel for the few who are lily livered and have invested most of their savings in the hope for a decent retirement. But like always don't invest what you cannot afford to lose.

Yes i agree with your analysis. I have also noticed that the trades are more or less displayed correctly but with the normal delay and different data gathering instruments in place can be misleading at times.

What really amuses me the most is that people who haven't got a penny invested here are holding some remarkable views about where this is going and what ought to happen. I can only sympathize with the holders and hope they don't fall for some idiotic comments posted.

We have seen some astonishing bounce backs and this could be one of them.

Can anyone please explain if they know the difference between asset acquisition as opposed to share acquisition and how that influences the bids and ultimately us the shareholders.

I just wish some here would stop spreading doom and gloom here without taking any facts into consideration.
We shall be in a position soon to find out exactly what is and what isn't going to happen with this.
For the LTH there is a good chance of a bounce back and recoup any lose if your position is to hold. No amount of ramping ,deramping or anything else is going to make a difference.

To be absolutely honest what vue have done is set a benchmark for the bidding process.
I think it will be the start and than a few more will jump in to see if they can clinch the deal.
Very similar to what Morrison went through but on different terms.
