Fair point Sloane. The truth is nobody knows exactly how it will all pan out.
£20 is a bit too optimistic especially if you consider a split could be on the way. I would say a value around a Tenner is most likely scenario with a divi of around 12-14%.
But its a interesting question and thanks for posting it.

Well Pal.
I can tell you that your poly investment was a good one but thats my personal and honest opinion. Just have to be a bit patient and IMHO this should be a sound decision.
I am a bit unsure of your EVRAZ holdings. Like you I am stuck with EVRAZ (10k).
Lets hope something happens and we do get to see the ligt at the end of the tunnel as far as EVRAZ is concerned.

I think if divis are paid out at some point as some of us believe they will be, than I think this will be reflected in the SP.
But the overall trend is showing signs of a push upwards. I think the announcements later this month will clarify matters further.

I have been saying for a long time this is not the one for shorters.
Those who are LTH and have been patient since march 2021 will reap the rewards.
Another 3-6 months will see this going tp £8 plus.

In relation to Divi's I agree but i would hesitate to think the SP would bounce quickly than the way it is going now.
I would like your comments on whether you think a further share buy-back by the company would greatly improve the companies foundation and put it into a more confident position.

Any thoughts of sanctions lifted and the stock trading on the markets in the west are pretty immature IMHO.
Even if there are signs that some form of talks resume between Ukraine and Russia the west will not decide to lift sanctions prematurely and its going to be a slow and thoughtful process. you only have to look at other countries who have undergone UN sanctions and they are still struggling to have them lifted.

There has been a slight change in policy from Zelensky during his visit to Kherson. He now believes he can start talks which has brought a sense of optimism. I hope he continues in this direction and we can see a end to the conflict. I am a bit cautious as to what the russian response will be. The SP is by no means ready to spring back.

Folks!
It's taken the russians months to start withdrawing from kherson.This was taken by the russians around March.
I think it will be another two years at least before all the remaining troops will be withdrawn if this is ever going to be a reality. In addition Putin has to have some sort of a face saving formula to sell at home to enable him to justify the start of this saga. This is going to happen at a snail's pace and not quickly.

What I have found most unusual is the russians officially anouncing on TV the withdrawal from the city of kherson.
It is a very unrussian gesture and I am a bit sceptical of the motives.

In my opinon you have taken a very bold but good decision. This will give you the foundation for future investments and strategies. We have all started somewhere in the same way like yourself and gained the confidence over the years.

This is staying circa 12 for a good amount of time. The full recovery is still yet to come but its a very good start and should hold momentum. the after 4pm sell-off should knock it a bit but not much.

I agree . Despite all the "noises " constantly here and negative sentiment most of us who are in this game long enough have realised that this war and the russian embargo together with internal changes in the managemnt hasnt destroyed the SP so there is much to be said for this company to be a heading for better days.
Ultimately the situation will get better and those who have put their hard earned money will see the benefits.

I agree if you are not a LTH this one's not for you.

With the recent goings on in the war and putin's announcement and the general market conditions globally plus the threat of a full blown recession i think this one is doing remarkeably well. Iwould hve expected this to be down t least another 20%.
For those who are LTH this will not cause concern. Most who invested here had visions of a bumpy ride. What should be said though is that those investing after february 2022 hve got a bargin of the century.
