When they filed ch.11 back in august 2022 they confirmed that they wanted the time to restructure and possibly continue the running of the chain . It is on this basis that I have said exactly what I have said.

In my honest opinion the time is running out for Mooky and his band . They have another 4-6 weeks to convince the lenders and come up with a turnaround plan or play on and extend ch. 11.
If its the latter than this chain will disappear like a fart in the wind. For the sake of all equity holders It would be preferable if they would find a way of continuing to trade and sell some assets even though this was not the BOD's intention.

How many times. This is not for sale in bits and pieces. It's either D4E or a buyout of the chain.

All the signs are showing Mooky and his band are not giving this up easily.They've put a lifetimes work into this and are going to put up a stern fight to get te best deal available. They have 22% of the chain and this will not be easy to grab whoever is next in line to consider a takeover.

Latest statistics show most are living on borrowed money. That's why it doesn't seem as though the economy on the streets is as bleak as it really is. But its going to hit the fan sooner or later.

I was merely pointing out that the FTSE is not a reliable indicator of how well the economy is doing locally.
For CINE to thrive we need a good strong local economy where the masses have spare cash in their pockets to go to the cinemas and restaurants. You just have to to look at stocks like Marstons Restaurant group and Wetherspoons and you see most are down. For a turnaround we will have to wait.
That does not mean that investing in any of these including Cine is the wrong thing. So when it comes to that question its a choice for each individual. I am heavily invested here too. I hope it clarifies what I was saying.

The ftse might cross 8000 but 80% of sales achieved by ftse companies are made overseas.
The UK eco8has still a few hurdles to jump
