As I say delivery to the lungs. Tend to do this when you want high dose in lungs but low dose elsewhere to avoid side effects. So actually trying to avoid absorption from the lungs.

Closest thing I know to a neutralising agent are antibodies - injected.

Some vaccines are given nasally but again provoke a systemic affect.

Nasal delivery of a local acting neutralising therapy might work locally (for a bit) but I don't think would offer much protection.

However I did post an alternative therapy yesterday and I'm sure we could adaot affirmers to that.

tils have just submitted a patent for nasal delivery of Mab. However, I think it is intended to have a systemic affect rather than local neutralising action. I don't think TILS patent extends to affirmers......

Not a crazy idea. Steroids, antihistamines, saline - lots of things delivered nasaly. Lot of people looking at it for all sorts of proteins - hormones etc. I can see why you asked and let's hope Al stops by here on his way to the Whaler (go on Al - have the large haddock, you deserve it).

Putting affimers in a pipe and beaming the results via bluetooth is a **** idea.

My worry about peer review and it is only a small worry.

1.Confidence intervals are huge. These give a better idea of where the "true" difference may lie

2. Small studies throw up erroneous statistical significant results - opposite of what I thought
