Missed a trial for this years flu season but saying going for 2021/22 would not be quite the news market wants. Could set that up and fund it properly from covid revenue (whoever owns SGN by then)

Is this clinically significant - does it make a difference to patients and is it worth paying for.

Overall the interim seems to do what it intended to do - provide supportive data for covid - next step will be EUA in the States and inclusion in RECOVER. Disappointing that results require a further study for COPD - missed this flu season

I am also future proofing my families future. What I have done is secures employment and I use the proceeds of this to create a source of funds I allocate in a wide variety of investments. What I haven't done is gone to a online source of numerous unbiased opinions about a single stock to confirm my own confirmation bias. In this way I can make the odd mistake without getting twitchy and bent out of shape. I have DYOFR and the board occasionally helps with that . the more humble and generous posters are owed a huge thanks whilst the sausage waving self proclaimed expert whose experience is 10 years out of date and her self creates following of acolytes still disrupt the board with continual reference to her. If you want to be called ****by the Centurion just ask nicely - no need to create a post in order to earn it

Dr J - interesting thought on PPE and reduction in requirements using a self administered test - I think that's what you mean. Going in to flu season we may still struggle. From an economic perspective could off set the cost of the test by the cost of PPE saved?
