Could you perhaps update us on what you think the MTR holding is in LION?

Lionsgold (LION) announced this morning that readmission to on-market trading will be in Q4 2018.

Would we (MTR) anticipate an extension to the warrant holding (9,090,909) which is due to expire 29 January 2019?

They have been suspended from on-market trading since 11 May 2018, likely to be near a full 6 months by the time readmission takes place.

I think it be reasonable MTR to ask LION to extend our warrant period by a further 6 months until end of July 2019

any thoughts?

Listening to this mornings Directorstalk interview I think the T20 drilling plan, one the EMP is approved, may be pushed back a few months until they explore further the T3 dome.

MM mentions that T20 dome is quite a bit away from the camp & asks rhetorically whether you would explore at that distance away in preference to the close by T3 dome areas that remain unexplored.

There has been a system upgrade on the ASX - the 'trading halt' status needs re-applied to all relevant stocks

Thankfully the audacious bid by AB for MTR back in Autumn 2016 failed. MTR is now a thriving Company which would not have been possible had the takeover bid been successful and AB was still in charge.

I wish to extend my congratulations and kudos for the stewardship that Chairman Charles Hall and CEO Michael McNeilly have steered with MTR.

After PJ stepped down as CEO in Autumn 2016, the CEO fell to Alex Borelli. Through his 'spotting an opportunity' for himself launched an audacious takeover bid for MTR from his other listed Company BMR.

Thankfully through protestation from our largest shareholders to our other Board Members the takeover bid failed and was withdrawn.

If it had been successful, where would we be today?

The 'ice cream' salesman as I hear him called in various places has further mismanaged BMR to a point where BMR is officially being de-listed from AIM next week, having no NOMAD for a month and being suspended for 6 months. RNS issued by BMR this afternoon.

Now the issued RNS has confirmed de-listing from AIM next week I would suggest you check with your broker whether your BMR shares will stay within your ISA.

Having checked myself with a friend, when DAN de-listed in January 2016 his DAN shares held in ISA were moved outwith the ISA wrapper late April 2016.

It seems that if you are using an 'online broker' and managing your own trading then the broker's do not count AIM de-listed shares as 'qualifying investments' and thus will automatically move them.

Best check with your own broker if that will be the case. Perhaps you could report back after checking.

Oxus Gold are in Administration, which is still ongoing so are a different case.

You will of course be correct here if BMR go into administration or liquidation until complete they will remain in 'limbo' an ISA account.

By HMRC rules the shares you hold in a delisted Company within an ISA will be moved out of the ISA wrapper to a normal CGT trading account 3 months after de-listing.

Those held within a SIPP will remain there.

We need the court procedure as we are a public company not private. It is purely an accounting process to 'clear' the p&l loss to 'enable' us to have 'distributable reserves' in the future and either pay a 'dividend' (income taxable) or a 'return of capital' (CG taxable).

I have been in two other companies that have done a capital re-organisation and has nothing to do with 'placings'

At this stage the Company is not intending to either pay a dividend or return capital to shareholders.

Having had a look at their posting history pic charts they should perhaps join the cast of Joseph and his technicolour dream coat.

Duster has a nice rainbow colour there in 11 stocks & wiser has a nice rainbow on 14 stocks.

It's hard to believe they really 'hold' 10+ stocks each.

I'm looking forward to many more of these many-multi-stock posters arriving as it means things are hotting up :)

re T3 costs - I'd assume we will still have to fund our 30% of the DFS costs until the transaction completes in late October

MTR had a SMR of 2% capped @ $2m - this is in the original JV agreement.

Just at a back-of-fag-packet calculation:

T3 project sold for A$26.6m, roughly £15m

162's blog valued T3 within the SOP at £21m, so we have attained 71% of value.

the SOP was £47m -> ~4.5p/share

New SOP £41m -> 3.65p/share (1.1224b shares)

I'm in for 2 years so would be looking for more than mid-teens by late 2018 and certainly late 20s by end of 2019. I think the finds will keep coming and when we start T20 etc then....

In saying all that I'd have no issue voting for a 'hive-off' of the T3 project for a suitable $$$ to MTR to allow acceleration of exploration in the other areas..

My question was in part taking into consideration the wider context of a TO or Hostile TO and the prevention thereof :)

The BoD + RR have 18.69% adding Michael Joseph (MJ) at 5.02% only adds up to 23.71% which is short of the 25.01% required to defeat a TO (the TO bidder, hostile or otherwise, required >75% of shareholder approval - which in reality is 75% + 1 share)

In this context "we" would need 1.30% to defeat a TO bid - assuming of course that MJ is not cashing in too early..

My own thought was that excluding the lower % shareholdings of the BoD as they may be persuaded to vote for a TO with 'other' incentives.

Then we would have the top 4 shareholders (inc2 BoD members) as thus:

RR - 8.91%; CH - 2.87% (BoD); TG - 6.07% (BoD); and MJ - 5.02% --> totalling 22.87% - still about 2.14% short of the 25.01% figure

Obviously CH & TG cannot buy on market or exercise at the moment, if RR or even MJ were to take-up that 2.14% slack then "we" could guarantee any form of TO would fail with the votes of just these 4 shareholders. I can imagine as I'm sure you can there will be quite a number of PI's that would vote in favour of say a 15p offer, so in theory that 75%+1 could be attainable.

What are your thoughts?

Taking all the buying below 3p over the last couple of months, in your opinion could it be Sprott building their stake back up to 10%?

With the recent warrant/option exercises, Sprott's 100m shares has fallen down to a 8.91% holding. They would have a buffer of ~12m to return them to 10% before having to TR1 again. (1,122,434,438 shares in issue)

It's just a thought..

The 34 assays are already out. The update of 24th May contains 27 of them, though in the MOD version they've said that all 34 are in. The remaining 7 known are perhaps not of note.
