The current SP movement is not so much about dilution. It’s about the share price being marked by the OO at a certain level, 53p in this case, and the market using that as a benchmark and the subsequent arbitrage pressure. Small companies do offers to raise cash all the time, especially after a share price run up and no matter the reason for the fundraise, the SP will inevitably be dragged towards the offering level in the short term due to arbitrage dynamics. Medium and long term, fundamentals take over, but in the short term there is a marked valuation and that is overriding. Paul Tudor Santos will argue otherwise, but he’s too busy chasing settlements for middle office to understand.
