i am aware there is a problem. my point/issue is that the right wing news channels/social media commentators/ tommy robinsons are brainwashing the easily manipulated for their own ends and reducing the chance of sensible discourse to nil. anyone with a less moseley-esque viewpoint is branded a blue haired quisling, oat milk latte woke whatever. ****** and extreme views are becoming normal, which isn’t good for society. no solutions are being suggested, populists are stoking blame, fear mongering and painting a picture of dystopianism (london is lawless for example ) and the scared, and fearful are lapping it up as justification for their own shortcomings. iq141 quotes the 1.3m foreigners on benefits figure unaware that mostly includes eu immigrants who are here with leave to remain status. but the details don’t matter in this debate because ‘foreigners are bad’ and if you think otherwise you are blue haired etc etc etc.
