Hi Cheapsharesboy - I believe we have crossed paths on another stock.
I do not know the full 2020 numbers but I am aware that Q1 20 was particularly good and I can guess that Covid tempered down the next 9 months.
The beauty of the Liquidnet business is that it is low cost and high margin.
It is also pleasing that Liquidnet set up satellites for European trading so they have not had any fall in normal trading volumes.

I would agree that selling should logically outweigh buying in the early day or so of the re-listing.
Then I sense strong buying will take over.

HKTrader - VWAP on Euronext was indeed e9.304 on Friday 5th Feb.
At today's exchange rate that equates to 816.14p.

Interesting to understand where some of these trades take place.

A number would be dealt within the dark pools with some platforms specialising in trading 'blocks' which under MiFid II have to be large in scale (namely, above EMS or a multiple of EMS) - I would guess that is where the true size is dealt

A number would be traded 'upstairs' so away from the electronic platforms. This is where a buyer/seller would leave a sizeable order with his chosen broker who would use his experience in finding a natural other side. The broker would normally talk in first instance with the broker to the company as they know the likely bigger buyers and sellers. Then some part of the order would be left with one MM for them to work against orders coming through electronically - I would guess that some of the smaller more sizeable trades have traded this path (5,000 shares maybe through to 25,000)

Finally, brokers provide algorithms for their clients to use and there are a number that align to the clients requirements - such as VWAP, TWAP and IS. They are the most common and the 'algo' just slices the large order in many smaller orders and drips them into the electronic platforms whether 'lit' or 'dark'

Great news

There seems to be support at that 6p level.
After the placing the support level was 4.15p which it tested many times.
Then it consolidated at the 5.2p level as a low so at 6p and above it is progress.
Given the TU that is perhaps a fair value for now.
Lots of posts are positive and see the company increasing fill rates and adding DAU's/games and the scale up in revenue.
Very few talk to losing a Codemasters or even a FM. Not saying that could happen, but it sits as a risk?
If I was on the board I would be loud in securing the future and for me that would be start a raise now and sound out the big holders (Herald, Draper himself (get your cheque book out and make a real positive statement) Mitchell) and raise at 6p.
Do it quickly and end any speculation...
Then the share price can relax and find it's level but the short term price becomes a little irrelevant if they drive fill rates and win new games.

My spreadsheet that pulls in latest prices has shown NAV crossing $150m for the first time.

This is aim.
What the company actually does, or achieves, or delivers does not need to hold the share price down.
Retail buying or selling has a profound effect on the share price and whilst some think these boards do not move a share price I personally think they may be wrong.
If these boards drive a positive sentiment more retail will place buy orders and the MM's see them coming most times (not every time) and up it goes.
Good luck. I can live without getting back in and would love to see Bids back at 13p tomorrow.

and even though you go for the jugular in being insulting bottomzup, the costs of sales single biggest contributor is the commission share to the publisher.
That payment sits in the ad industry as high as 80% but I would suggest it may be 70% as an average for Bids. (new ad category)
That's why I stuck with the latest published number and that was 72% cost of sale.
I do think it may fall from 72% to 70% but we are splitting hairs given Bids have historically reported the following costs of sales numbers - 76%, 76%, 76% 72%.....
I think it may still be 70 to 72%....
This is not a competition, it is just my opinion and clearly I could be wrong.
Happy to be wrong - I bought a lot of shares last year at between 4p (in the placing) and 4.5p and sold before the recent run. I would look again at investing at the 5p range, but I need tangible progress with those AAA games and ad fill rate. Single digits is abysmal give how long FM, Grid and Dirt have been live.... actually, not just abysmal but a total disgrace given what the competition is getting done and delivering. You only have to look at an Anzu and Adverty to unemotionally know Bids are behind the curve currently.

not many shareholders held 4.7m but one sold yesterday (1.21% or thereabouts)
the company must have an idea who was holding that size or larger?
was it someone close/known to the company?
These are the trades that worry me most - and why?
- its size
- it may well have taken time to build that position
- the holder lost 6p plus on last week so like most holders they never saw the makeup of the RNS coming but
- they chose to sell in one hit (at a discount to bid/offer)
- and do they hold more as that will leave an overhang in the market and lower the price (what MM would be daft to hold a price up if he knows more shares are on offer)
I am looking to buy but lower down. Let's see where the price goes over the coming days.
