Well I'd just make the following points:-

Since Setanta sold down a lot a few years back I don't think any of the Institutional Investors have been selling? They see more than us and have access. They also have large block votes for/against remuneration policies. That has made a difference elsewhere eg COST in getting Directors linked to shareprice. Add Babu to that also. So that lot see something that we cannot. Try writing to the Institutions and Babu and suggest rebellion, but realistically if they thought that one was required they would have done it already.

I've sold down a few as was in need of a top up elsewhere but gonna stick for now and we'll see what happens with ships and goodwill going forward.Not sure which way insurance is going-I've just renewed (not with SAGA) at less than last year, even with the addition of 3 naughty points..trend is moving there for sure.

It's great that you're positive on the stock but you haven't swotted up some of the detail. They cant pay a dividend until they have got back to a straight line on the ship loans following Covid deferment. And that is taking longer due to the issues in insurance. And also, as I previously pointed out to you, the goodwill issue will ensure no profit for a while in the view of most long termers on here. So that is why we hope for a deal on the ships or a sale of the underwriting business at a decent price. Rupans, help me out mate on where to find the divi deferment-am at Le Mans and its hazy already!!

Well I finally got a divi in from elsewhere and doubled my stake here. I think good at these levels. Worst case scenario they pump it and there will be an exit, best they issue some good survey results for Golden Rose at the end of this season.

May even have a few more if something else goes well over the summer.

Decent presentation. Backed up by a recent conversation with a mate who subcontracts for them. Definitely picking up a little. Not sure it merited -7% yesterday. Need the IR cuts to start along with some kind of road map for them going forward.
