Well I guess my opinion is what I would like it to mean:-

a) That it is actually a buy

b) Someone putting that on the table thinks its the bottom

c) They think or know that any raise will not be below this price

d) They think news is coming on the finance

May be someone thinks just 1 of those and wants to average down, but then wtfdik. Any other thoughts?

Agreed to a point, and yes I'd also top at a quid, but the biggest difference is that there's few PIs left judging by this board. The drive to 4 quid was PI fuelled. Not sure there's that appetite now. The pro's will want to see the divi returning or at least some kind of plan and like you say not sure management are that interested in what anyone else thinks.

So my pragmatic view would be that either someone knows its not happening, that it is happening but its a rubbish deal or finally, its a good deal and they want in from as low as they can take it. Who knows? Not us.
