Your question though prompted me to mull what people are actually expecting. SOme on here are thinking its going to take off but I dont think so.
As a summary, we know that travel is going well, we know that insurance isn't, we know debt will be reduced a little, we know that cash is lower than last year (Oct TU), we dont know the effect of the Ageas deal.
My guess not much different to previous with a lot of use of the word underlying. I think they have decided to clean up the balance sheet so the rest of the goodwill is gonna get dropped which would then leave a fresh start for next year with the ageas deal, no goodwill on there and who knows maybe something on the ship leases as interest rates drop. SO good next year maybe? SO at some point market will know that and react when they can gauge the numbers direction. But I dont think its just yet. Any other thoughts?
