What a disaster.

My 4th or 5th in a row. Shows i'm looking in the right places but no consolation when its 30-40% vs 200-300%.

PIs and believers get sh afted but the Directors check out.

Cost inflation over the same periods as other construction companies on fixed prices. Caused the losses and cash outflows along with as you say the cladding provisions.

Then recently they crashed it further by mentioning a review of funding options in the last RNS without saying what was being looked at.

Well, underwhelming Monday so far. They were gonna sell the Underwriting-they didn't. They were gonna leaseback the ships-they didn't. Lets hope it's third time lucky, but by the looks of the volume not many think it will be!

If it was me sat there I'd be burying bad news with the (hopefully) good, Ageas news. That's life.

My 2 pennorth on Saga insurance-I lived in the joint lowest risk postcode and they got nowhere close. It is a fast ish car but Aviva beat them by 100%

I hope there is none and an exit is once again feasible....

Well as per my previous I think its about the bottom-but where will the top be after the funding options are clarified..that's my main concern but nothing to do but wait.

"Based on rate of completion it will be 25 years"... Shortage of inspectors, contractors and agreements between builders and freeholders etc etc...

Our numbers would look better spread of half that time huh? I assume that we have more ability than the general builders to speed that but interesting backdrop. Our working class hero's aspiration of 2 years just shows how little she actually understands the issue.

They will get dumped in the market sub £ so the company will get plenty of opportunity!

Generally agree Monty, but in terms of a 2 year deadline, the govt can say what they like-who is going to do the work in that time? There's only so many people in that line of business. It'll take what it takes I think.

Theres another simpler view.

Nett cash is about £65m. In the heady days of '21 it was £124m. Fuzzy funding statement comes out. Market thinks share price low 50s, raise the cash back to '21 levels...how many shares is that-= where we are now.

An update that rules out an equity raise would be highly effective methinks.. If not then 1 quid is the new 2 quid.

It looks like the Costain position a few years ago but at least they were bold and clear with their raise. I would take more at this level but it means selling other stuff....Think this is the floor based on that.

Yep, money going to EU. We had a prospective job go away last week as hydrogen renewable funding available there but not here-too much uncertainty in their investment case...
