Hi Hardnose not sure what chat GBT is or where that timeline was gained from, but my own enquiries four years ago with a Scottish company indicated around three months depending on terrain. None the less even on the timeline you suggest it would still be ready early 2024 when it is required. My own feeling is it will be completed prior to year end and as follows they plan first sod sometime between June and August.
"Construct a 30 km pipeline to tie the Ntorya gas field into the existing Madimba processing and pumping station in the next six to nine months." This was officially announced back in November and on their government twitter page, they told the world they were discussing terms with landowners, so I hardly think the go ahead can be questioned.
Timing of course is all down to the rig availability IMO and aex are not party to that information until told by the operator.
I, like Ufufuo, feel there will be a short delay because we haven't yet heard of the rig contract. The answer to your question on the length of delay, as you know, is how long is a piece of string. We may or may not get news tomorrow, but again I too am an investor and I don't fret over day traders worries. TBH I've seen enough to be confident that we will spud asap after a rig is confirmed.
When I look at the schedule, we could drill as late as September and still be ready for early 2024, which will still be a year earlier than expected. So I'll not be sweating at this stage.
