True Pat, but those in O&G for a while like you know its not happening in March. There is generally a sequence of events. Right now the traders are trying to take advantage by knocking it for a buy back lower and they'll use any ridiculous claim to try and fool those unwise to their games. It's a regular rinse and repeat they play and they risk being left at the gates. There is only one way this is going medium term and when the rig is confirmed we'll all be happy.

Markets are never bloody happy, with or without news, the bbs are always full of moaning day traders trying to influence sentiment. We are 12 days to March and the news will come, what will be will be and daily movements are not as important to LT investors. It is where the sp will be when first gas arrives that is important.

As for Kiliwani PAET are providing 12.5km2 of 3D seismic within AEX licence area in which AEX hold a development licence in place until 2036 Page 6
(As an aside, it has been mentioned that there is the possibility of seeking a partner for further development of the area) so it would be no great surprise to see a farm out there and probably in most investors eyes, a welcome one.

Given that the bulk of spending will be done during full field development and the first gas being brought forward almost 12 months to Qtr1 2024

Unless there is a two year delay, which due to current known positions of all parties is highly unlikely, Aminex will have funds enough to survive until first gas and even if in an extreme worst case scenario would be likely to do a small raise to see them through

"The Ruvuma 3D seismic acquisition programme, the largest 3D survey to have been conducted to date in onshore East Africa, completed on 9 October 2022 and the processing and interpretation of data will continue into 2023."

Important to recognise...
1. "Will continue into 2023" no end date provided.
2. It covers 200km2 which is a hell of an area to analyse
3. Based on the above the analysis could go on throughout the year, so unlikely to get a resource upgrade.
4. Initial results, will be to prove the drilling pad location and as the 3D was required by ARA it indicates that their people's interpretation of the original 2D was that it may need moving. Afterall they upgraded the resource figures based on new interpretation.
5. As at November, subject to rig availability, aex were advised of expectation to drill in March. Although at this moment that maybe questionable, I would imagine that initial
CH1 processing area has been completed. Either way timing is not in the control of aex.
6. Final positive point, The Tanzanian government has agreed to build the pipeline to the Madimba gas processing plant, is already recruiting, agreed reparations with land owners and indicated work to start between June and August this year ready for first gas Qtr1 next year.

March will be upon us before we know it and one way or another if not before, with just six weeks to go for the expected drill date, we can expect to read an RNS giving reality of the current position, rather than reading the constant speculation.

Sadly no matter their experience, without a rig confirmation we are going nowhere. Hopefully there'll be some news this week by the AGM

Haggis, I answered you quite clearly with what my thoughts are. I'm not going to make something up just to suit you. If you disagree with my thoughts thats fine by me. You can jump up and down in seven weeks and laugh at me because if it happens, I'll be laughing with you.

I simply have the thought due to the timing of the two companies plans, that AEX were maybe due to take Xhalo202 after the January planned HE1 drill. Effectively, even if I am wrong on the rig selection, I have prepared myself for a slip.

These are just my thoughts and will be delighted to be proved wrong, I read 'expected' as a may be and not a certainty.

He's certainly racking them up and I'm looking forward to a few pints of that brew.
