Agreed, but sadly the 5%ters won't allow it to happen. Needs more tegular news flow and a few to get caught out before that.

You could say it might be a seismic event or as Rodders might say. Cosmic! Tbh while I would welcome an uplift, there is enough found already to make it more than worthwhile being a holder here. The rig news will be the real driver

Don't know about others, but I'm certainly not worried. All roads lead to the rewards coming this year imo. The only thing that matters now is the rig announcement.

As most expect the drill will not now take place in March as can be seen by the SP, I can only see confirmation of such being good news for the traders who have already sold in anticipation and have been spreading gloom in recent weeks in order to jump on any drop.
It will be even better news for investors if they hold their nerve and keep their shares held tightly while topping up on any drop. Aex are too close now and all are committed to first gas by qtr1 next year. It just needs a rig to be mobilised

The Scirrocco deal doesn't concern me. It was a binding agreement and money has changed hands

RoJo I will agree to the bet if you do the same with a little proviso. The word operational should be changed to construction completion.
Reason: It is not due to be operational ie flowing gas until early 2024

Thats my reading of it with construction starting June to August. Give or take a little, it should round about then if not before. You can remind me then if not and I'm sure you will :)

RoJo dear boy, it says "Construct" not constructed and "in" the next 6 to 9 months, not "within" I hope that clears up your apparent confusion :)

RoJo As they only announced agreement in November, did you seriously believe the bucket and spade started work that day? I doubt anybody else did. I certainly believed it meant construction was to begin within 6 to 9 months, afterall it should only take around three months to complete so why finance it twelve months ahead of it bringing in returns? As they had simultaneously announced they had just started discussing reparations with land owners and as you continuously point out the government delays I'm surprised you actually thought it might refer to being completed by May.

Smudger thanks for that, I see on day 3 they discuss the role gas will play in the energy mix and of their plans to accelerate gas projects along with its role in the countries energy security. It seems all roads lead to Ruvuma being that acceleration.
