BG there is no guarantee this is the rig and I made my assumptions from events that occured last November through to January between two companies I'm invested in.

The company currently having the rig is on ASX. It is Invictus, the rig is Xhalo202

To answer our negative buddy here who is clearly aware from his reference to Mozambique. If this assumed intended drill is delayed (in this case by just over two weeks), a knock on effect will naturally occur and that is no detriment to the next company or country that contracts to use the rig.

Drilling is a risky business and one dropped string and it could cause a further month delay. This is the same the world over and if people can't accept this then it is best to be invested in other sectors.

To answer the other negative he raises re: if this is not the rig, then it may still be possible to drill this side of Christmas as planned, but that means at this point we still have no inkling of what rig it will be.

Only the board ARA and suppliers know for sure what is going on. We are just the impatient mushrooms reaching out for some light from under the shyte and the light of dawn is approaching.

It is more than capable for our needs and it has now started turning in the last 36 hours just over two weeks late in a neighbouring country.

It is drilling an appraisal well to 3750ft and the whole operation including evaluation is expected to take between 50 and 60 days so mid November complete. The operator had contracted for one plus potential one and following success last year extended for a year to allow this second drill. I am assuming based on public knowledge that it will be released after that.

My estimation for transportation to our site would be 2 to 4 weeks and given H&E and equipment service/maintenance checks I am now thinking December will be tight, but early January a high possibility.

I don't think there will be an issue tbh and I think we'll go ahead on schedule so I'm not concerned at this time. Weather is unpredictable wherever we are, always has been and always will be, so while a consideration if far from a main road it would not be priority of any concerns for me

Chess you have said the same about everything. Spud is due before the end of month and you only have 10 days to wait. There is no need for anyone to fear about the second drill delay until we get past that point. Best to let the milk spill before crying over it.

Alligator, while I agree with your first paragraph I see the second part as fear mongering.

If you can come back with a list of exploration companies that are operating any differently I'd be more inclined to take it on face value, but from my experience, they all run right to the wire and they all fund to cover the drill in hand without a published plan B or C. The risk of failure is the same for all

In this case plan B is in the public domain, there is to be a second drill which they have just funded and it will be drilled whether the first is successful or not. The pad is already under construction.
