RE: Share price28 Sep 2023 13:06
Legal, for a bit of hypothetical fun, let's assume I only have £1000 and I am happy to lose it for a chance of a life changing experience.
If I buy now at 5p I get 20,000 shares, assuming the drill is a success and it goes to 20p my £1000 is now worth £4,000
If I wait for success it could be 10p before I could get a buy so I'd have only 10,000 shares
and again assuming it goes to 20p my £1000 is worth just £2000 and I can take my family for a meal.
If I wait for that success and miss the boat and its 20p before I can buy, I could find myself with only 5,000 shares and stuck on a spike with my life change dream being over.
The point is we all have dreams and whatever way we look at, it is a gamble. My view is, if I am willing lose my thousand pounds to change my life, then in for a penny, in for a pound. The worst scenario is losing my £1000, but I have a much better chance of achieving the life changing £4000
The amount is irrelevant here as it could be £1 or a million; we can each only play the hand we have got and many wealthy investors made their money by playing such gambles while other poor beggars lost out. None of us get it right every time, but as the saying goes, you have to be in it to win it!
