Also this bot confirms the big boys are already on site. My guess is the rest will arrive just a few days prior to spud for familiarisation and a HS briefing etc

The Rig Manager, Night Drilling Supervisor and local rig crew are already on site and currently undergoing inductions and mandatory training prior to the commencement of drilling. The last of the remaining long lead items due are currently on schedule to arrive at site the second week of September.

The Company has now appointed a full drill crew in advance of the Phase II drilling programme. The skilled crew have been sourced through reputable, UK-based energy project management company, Zenith Energy ("Zenith"). The crew comprises a day and night shift in order to undertake 24-hour operations and also includes the appointment of third-party services personnel and an operator supervisory team.

From reading, I understand the crew situation is that the big boys are hired and seem to be on site. Knowing Tanzania is keen for locals to be hired and trained, it is possible there has been some local recruitment.

How can it impact the second drill? There are still two weeks in September remaining. The schedule is for late September drill. There is no delay currently so no point fretting about milk that hasn't been spilt.

Have you though that may e the LLI and the full crew is yet to arrive on site?

This was the reason I said yesterday a spud is more likely next weekend than this.

Transport from the docks on Tuesday would mean LLI would only be expected today/tomorrow and I can't recall a communication of any kind that confirms the full rig crew has been enrolled?

Personally another week of climbing before spud, would suit me a lot better. I assume for many others too

This went to 27p last time before the failure. It may or may not get to that same level during the drill this time but the prize is still the same and there is a potential second bigger prize to follow in tye weeks after. Yes a commercial find confirmed would push towards the £1 and following spud and anticipation would surely see us break it.

Crucially we need success at the first well of the two, to achieve it although it can't be ruled out that the second would also achieve it. The value, scarcity and quantity found will have the final say.
