Lots of people anxiously awaiting more news now from GDR so I hope it's not another month or two of silence. I wish I could see the presentation again as I'm sure I must have forgotten a few things. I tried to make notes but it was all over pretty quickly with a lot of information given out and my hands just aren't that quick any more (arthritis). Anyone know of any links where you could watch it again pls?

OK let's assume for the sake of argument that they only sell 1000 AIHL machines. That's £5m. Then let's assume each machine does just one test per day for a year. That's an additional £29.2m per year. It's not the sale of the machines that's going to prove lucrative for GDR but the ongoing costs of the tests.

Back of fag numbers yes but they're simple. What if GDR sell 2000 machines and they are used for 2 tests per day for a year. You get my drift.

One of the big pharmas will surely make a move quickly now the AIHL kit has received it's blessing from NICE and the PAOLH study published in JAMA. I can't really think of another reason why the sp hasn't shifted much. Watch out for large buys that get printed at the end of the day.

Novacyt made their application a long time ago and well before the backlogs had formed. Just trying to temper expectations as I think it's easy to become disillusioned with this share when things don't happen when you expect or want them to. Anyway, I think there will be plenty of other good news well before May and if the CTDA does arrive earlier then all well and good.

i thought we'd already established that approvals were being delayed by about 2 to 3 months going on how long other companies have had to wait from the moment they made submissions... I'm expecting it in May. Would love it to be earlier of course but the UK govt hardly thinks Covid is a priority now and Boris will want it never mentioned again if that helps bury the party-gate scandal. Despicable character.

Would be great to get some distribution agreements in place for those two EU countries as well.

Just a couple of RNSs now to say roll out of AIHL machines has begun in earnest and that there is serious interest from Japan, as well as the US and all over the EU and we're away. If, and I know it's a big 'if', there was a take over bid what would people vote in favour of? I don't imagine DB would get much support for anything under £1 per share. Many would struggle to refuse £1.50.... For me that would actually be the best result as we would all realise the gains almost instantly rather than having to wait for another 12 months to see how well sales go globally. I'm old and probably don't have that many years left so it would be nice to feather the family nest sooner rather than later before heading off permanently.

Relations between GDR and health services should be good too going forward. Hopefully with the success of AIHL behind us it will prove far easier to persuade people that GDR's other tests are worth looking into quickly and the whole process of developing a product and getting it to market will be quicker than we've seen up to date. I know you can't rush approvals but at least GDR will now be a recognised name.

Excellent and positive presentation but the sp sits still.

On two or three occasions in the past there has been the merest hint of something good and sentiment carried the sp to ridiculous levels. Now, finally we have sales in the EU and that look good, with the AIHL kit being rolled out to NHS hospitals and the its potential far greater then even people at GDR had thought, and a new test to help stroke victims - another product with no competition - and the so dawdles. Had hoped for a quick acceleration up towards 40p but the market has other ideas. Just got to hold for longer but this is going to come good. Very good.

here's a ramp for everyone: I would be surprised if the sp is not £1+ by the end of the year. Once people see the ongoing revenue generated by the actual tests run on both the Covid PoC and AIHL machines this will look like an entirely different prospect. Even if only 250k babies were given the test each year (out of 7m born worldwide) that would generate c£20m per year income. Per year! And that is without the income generated by the actual sale of the machines. Think about what that could grow to if there is global uptake of the machines. i could go on and on but I'm delighted to own shares in this company which develops products designed to make our lives safer. Had my doubts about DB in the past but he came good this morning as far as I am concerned. We're not out of the woods yet but there is definitely lots of daylight ahead for lths who like me have horribly high averages. CTDA will be a welcome boost too for sentiment alone.

I'm amazed with the enormous potential the sp isn't climbing higher and faster. There will be profit taken off the table understandably but even so, I'm surprised it isn't mid 30s already.

The market is still slow to see this but it will snap any minute. Just takes one ii to throw in a large order and we'll see the sp bounce around the same number for a while and then ping. It'll be let loose.

That's worldwide. Even a tenth of that number would equate to an income of £56m...per year!! Off the charts.

Covid POC is about £2k. The AIHL machine is about £5k and tests for both are run at approx £80 each. That's some serious revenue going forward and in time will dwarf the revenue generated from the sale of the machines.

Both of my buys have gone down as sells and are sitting proudly in the Trade table as RED.

MMs are up to something here and, whilst i don't usually believe they have that much influence over share prices, something/someone is working quite hard to keep a lid on this today. If as many buys are actually sells as i suspect then they're preparing for something of a rush on a short while. Just a guess.

how does that work then? Is that someone placing a large order should it begin to take off? It annoys me when you sometimes see trades cancelled later in the day but we all know this is not a level playing field so perhaps it's an ii which has the leverage to do something like that. No pi observing the sp would pay that high price so I can only assume it's a placement for a large order that will be guaranteed at such a high price. Of course if it's all a disaster then we'll most likely see it as a cancelled trade at about 4:35pm!

Jace/PSG - you are so tedious. I hate to use the filter option as I prefer to see and hear all views whether +ve or -ve but sometimes one realises a person is worryingly OTT and one sided in their views. You are one of those that now couldn't see the wood for the trees even if you were parachuted into the middle of Sherwood Forest, and you've declared you're a shorter too, so I've decided I can live without your incessant rubbish and antagonistic drivel. Agreed Tricky. I think today Db will explain in as much detail as he can how the stroke test works and what it can do and...where the potential market is for it. That on top of the Covid POC kits in GDR's back pocket for a rainy day should the worst happen - a new really nasty variant springs up from somewhere causing western Govts to backtrack on testing routines and habits - and the news that the AIHL machines are all ready to be delivered to as many hospitals as want/need them things have actually never looked better imv.

The AIHL machines are relatively cheap and so I see no reason why every hospital in the land won't request one from the NHS. This is not taking into account all the private healthcare companies in the UK, of which there are many. This is just in the UK. I can only dream of the numbers should there be full uptake in the US, the EU, Japan and South korea and various other countries from the ROW. I haven't even mentioned the Middle east where there are plenty of countries with deep pockets who will want the finest health care possible. The mind boggles... We do need Budd to deliver though, in as positive a manner as possible. He needs to say he's excited about the potential and not be afraid to show it.

PSG - I think you're almost certainly Jace as he just went on and on to a rather disturbing degree about sales and had a habit of mixing in the occasional statement ON BOLD TYPE to emphasise a point. How many hundreds, if not thousands of messages have you posted here? It's an obsession that makes me feel extremely uncomfortable and worry for you.

Are you a disgruntled former employee of GDR who bought shares and then got shafted perhaps? I am no fan of the CEO but your obsession with him suggests there is something personal going on between you and DB. Alarming.

If tomorrow goes well for GDR and the share price does head north I seriously hope you have someone with you.

What an interview! More of the same. So much work....and yet so little to show for it. No wonder no one's interested in buying in here. PJ is full of hot air and has absolutely no results to back up any of his positive comms patter. POW have got bugger all to show for the last two years of work. What's on the horizon? Some will tell you IPOs but this company is going to need to raise soon just to keep the lights on. I know PJ has some of his won money in this but you can bet your bottom dollar he'll look after that first before letting anyone else make a penny out of POW.

That would be awesome but I fear Db doesn't have the imagination for that kind of action. Generally he seems not to understand how the world of investment works ie communicate with the people you wish to attract as share holders. Indeed, even the world of commerce seems to be something of an enigma to poor DB. Let's just hope the quality of the products can speak for themselves looking ahead. We just need Db to throw out a few positive statements tomorrow. I fail to see why he would have gone to the trouble of organising this presentation unless he had something good to say.

Anyway, i digress. An RNS tomorrow morning would be great but I am not confident. I think he will simply talk positively about the future potential for AIHL kit, the possibilities for the Covid POC kit should another variant spring up that causes a sharp increase in hospitalisations and the new test for stroke victims.

As for the IPOs Bumble it very much looms to me as if the market doesn't buy it at all or there would be some interest in POW. No one buying in here in any meaningful way for months and months. PJ is full of hot air and will just keep teasing and saying 'look out...', 'keep your eyes peeled..'.
