I really hope so Jimi. Budd is often rather backward in coming forward with information that enhances sentiment. Now would be a useful time to give something, anything, to the market with some meat on the bones as opposed to the recent tones of 'we hope for some possible positive news flow over the next months'.

Just one thing that was specific on DEVOTE/FDA/NHS rollout/AIHL sales abroad would start to put pegs in the ground for the sp.

I think sentiment is really down in many areas on AIM at the mo and GDR BODs have done nothing to reassure share holders things are in a good place here. The deal with RF is now imho a big psychological block to new investors jumping in. There's an ii heavily involved now and whilst they've given GDR a life line with funding they also have their foot on GDR's head and can either push them under the water level or raise them up. They will do what ever makes them money and unfortunately that doesn't necessarily mean working in share holder's interests. As has been clearly pointed out now by various posters on here it's in RF's interests to dump another 2.5m shares as quickly as they can and then demand another massive tranche to make up the shortfall. It appears these new shares they would be issued with, when sold would NOT have to have profit given back to GDR. It's an extremely intricate deal, designed to confuse and bamboozle retail holders and also give the BOD at least a vague chance of hoodwinking the market that it's a good deal. The market has not been fooled however and now we're just playing a waiting game as to when RF will once again start dumping. Personally I think they will try to get rid of the next 2.5m shares before the next drawdown which will probably happen in another ten days. Hold on to your shares and just wait it all out until Sept/Oct is my advice - I know no one is asking for it but i have been heavily invested here for well over three years o have at least some experience relating to this stock. That's when I think we will start to see the next big rise in GDR UNLESS there is news on sales (unlikely imv), FDA news (anyone's guess) or specific figures on DEVOTE funding (could be anything from £100k a year to £1m).

Just sit tight. All will come good but it might be a slightly uncomfortable ride for the next two and a half months. Going on previous experience here, were the sp to drop significantly lower then I personally will load up with all I can. Risky I know but I thought about doing it when the sp dropped below 10p and of course regretted not being braver! The ultimate play I am holding out for is for the company to finally prove they are selling in many territories and when the sp is much higher eg 50p+ a takeover bid lands from one of the big pharmas. Hopefully for about £1 per share. I think that's possibly only a year away....not long to wait for the right result. GLA

What is an LSE listing worth? And how much debt could they accrue in the time between the last RNS giving figures and when they propose to close it down? Surely not that much?

'In the main, funding is expected to go directly to the UoM and its NHS partners to set up and coordinate the three projects, the total amount of funding to be made available under the programme will be determined in due course.'

Legalwolf - in this instance it means they're going to get on with it before they work on other projects i think. You're right though, it's all years off. IPOs have delivered nothing in terms of any incremental value to the POW sp. Time and again people say it will but it doesn't and that's just a fact. Might look ok on paper but unless you're wanting to derisk in what is already a very risky sector then it's arguably safer to invest in POW than one of the targeted entities.

Bruno- I have a feeling we won’t be told off a specific Figure with regard to the DEVOTE funding. It cd just be a rolling agreement for certain things to be covered by UoM and thus a totally random figure at the end of each year.

Certainly no indication in that last RNS that we should expect another one announcing a specific amount. More’s the pity.

Hope not sprout. Sitting at just above 15p we'd be lucky to get an offer of 50p ish..?

I also think RF will have had numerous discussions with budd and co regarding what their strategies are for selling etc and would know if there was any serious interest from elsewhere.

I wish to heaven you could be right though and that an offer would land for 50p+ I'd definitely vote in favour. We could be 50p by October but things aren't going the way the BOD would have wished when they set this RF deal up. They needed lots of good news and for good volume and repeated interest in trading the share. Neither of those things have happened and now, even when there was confirmation we were going to be involved in the DEVOTE project, the sp has slumped, not risen.

GDR is now the play thing of RF, who want to make as much money out of GDR which ever way they can. If that means running it close to the bottom to get more and more shares before it revives and then seriously becomes a take over target then so be it. They wont' car one jot if the sp drops sub 10 again. I'm afraid I can see it going back down there and I honestly thought it wouldn't get anywhere near that ever again but...when you get involved with sharks such as RF you have to expect they're going to keep coming back again and again to take as many chinks out of you as they possibly can.

Of course the one thing that could change everything is news of decent sales contracts and a message from Budd stating there is no need to implement another drawdown at least for 6 months. One can dream.....

i am feeling sorry for myself and all lths here. really don't think we deserve this as our reward for staying invested. I'm well and truly trapped now. If this goes belly up then I'm done for.

What’s really scary now is that I don’t think todays selling is down to RF. mms happy to drop the price heavily on very little volume. God help us if RF do start dropping a load of 00k sells in again. We cd be at 10p by the end of today if they did. Somehow I’d be ok with that as that would get the pain over and done with far more quickly. Hate watching this day after day struggling ever to really get somewhere and then stay there.

They have loads of shares they want to dump and know will drop the sp. It’s a no-brainer. My god they’re going to make a lot of money out of this. Short all the way down to 10p (just spring they placed a short at 20p) and then they start slowly dumping shares knowing full well when they’re out and about to apply for another allotment, they close their short and or go long . Then they have to hope sentiment isn’t damaged to such a degree that retail won’t then touch GDR even when good news lands. If FDA news was good they’d hope for the sp to rocket all the way to 50p+ and make yet southern killing actually selling all their shares (the ones they don’t have to give back profit from to GDr) and a vast number of warrants. Congratulations Riverfort. Well played. Very well played. Just don’t take the company private please once you’ve got yourselves a majority stake in the company. That wd wipe out all pis . It does happen and people here need to be aware of every possibility.

Onlyprofit- that’s a drop in the ocean compared to how many RF want to dump. And that’s only IF all of those were RF. I don’t think they were because of the irregular amounts. As we’ve witnessed already, when they all they sell in big chunks of 100k or else they’ll end up paying a broker a nice fee. They’re gonna gobble GDR up I fear. It’s just too easy when you’ve got a clown like Budd in charge and a savvy Chairman like Gilham who will be doing a deal For himself somewhere along the line
