Adani Group WANT the asset. If they think the hearing will go against the CoC decision due to lack of proper process then they’ll make a settlement. IMHO there is zero chance MPL end up with the whole asset back in their hands. MPL would surely take a settlement sum of £20m - quadrupling their current cash position - rather than risk losing out altogether.

I suspect the traders are now done with this stock as it’s too close to the wire. Binary play that cd land at any moment from now. If it’s silence through the week then imv Adani have it sown up, one way or another.

No settlement in the next couple of days suggests Adani Group happy to take their chances with the hearing on June 8th. They either know the hearing will find in CoC’s favour and they’ll walk away with the asset or else they are at risk of having to relinquish the asset altogether and walk away with nothing . I do actually agree with some here that there’s a small chance of a settlement but there are numerous ways it could play out. If no RNS by next Friday announcing a settlement then imho it’s already in the bag for Adani.
