The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Lloyd - ‘ there are mates who want all the shares they can get ready for big news.’
Really? There’s only £25k to £50k being bought each day. Been like that for weeks. And those amounts are broken up into much smaller amounts. Half of them must be massive and AHS and myself as we’ve all been topping up for weeks too. Not sure I buy it.
RNS clearly states Angrafx. The Lord is CEO of Angra Ltd. Are they different entities then?
But tellingly they are exactly the same postcode….
Actually there will be 3b shares in issue so new funder we’ll have two thirds of the vote. 66%. They would I believe need 75% to approve a take over bid and they’d surely manage to know who holds another 9% and swing a vote their way.
I wouldn’t get too excited here. I think Lars has more fun and games up his sleeve for share holders. He’s offered three quarters of the company to iis in this next equity raise. £2m is peanuts for iis and if anyone wants the IP then that’s what they need to pay. I suspect a deal has already been done (Tesla?). Any vote on a low ball take over offer and the new ii has control of the vote. If the ii (or who ever stumps up the £2m) wants CPX for £5m - or less - they’ll get it.
I think a take over is absolutely on the cards but sadly not for anything like the true value of the IP. Terrible CEO who has now sold CPX down the river to who ever wants it for…£2m plus say another £2m in a few months time, maybe even less if Lars manages to run the company even further into the ground. Easy to imagine going on his recent form.
I’m holding on the hope this will get taken out for .3p or .4p a share and I get most of my money back.
Not yet I haven't.
If there is a positive RNS later today or first thing Monday morning then it just confirms once again how bent the system is in favour of the iis who always get first dibs on any news. It's one hell of a buy though, gotta admit. definitely not punt money!
Omg this is actually funny reading posts from David6576 and Ikhan.
btw Ikhan - the US market has gone on to summer time so they opened at 1.30pm UK time. Feel even just a little bit foolish now? No, probably not.
I am both looking forward to and dreading Monday morning. It's pathetic that a small red dot can carry so much hope and potentially despair.
Anyway, let's hope for updated accounts etc swiftly followed by a second RNS stating it's AIM Rule 14. Might not be rockets here but I do think if it happens then the sp will do well even just off the back of the herd's curiosity. That collective interest may be short lived but I'm keen to see how this whole thing plays out further down the track.
So if the company is wound up can that remaining pot of cash be divvied out to cover Zeus’s fees? I mean if ITS no longer exists after March 27th how will Zeus get their money? All so confusing and complicated. Never mind, all will become more clear very soon.
Well if there is anything planned they must have it all lined up by now as there are only another two and a half business days to release news in before ITS is forced out of existence. Those share registrations could simply be to take out the cash to pay Zeus before the deadline. I think that might be why there has been a little activity at Company House. I’m dreaming of what an RNS might reveal…
Sold up and waiting on the sidelines. Have huge losses to make up here and think there will be opportunities but with RF and Peel Hunt being heavily involved I am more comfortable being out than in until I am sure of the longer term plan here. It could easily be taken private or sold off cheaply, or they could choose to turn it around and let it ride high once more. none of us has a clue. GDR has great testing equipment but they can't sell anything like enough for quite a while to make themselves self sufficient. They have a huge cash burn and show no signs of reducing it further below £400k per month so they are desperate for money soon. They will need major financing well before they can possibly generate enough income to stand on their own two feet.
What's next in terms of news? They tend to do a placing every 6 months or so - not huge but about £750k or so - and they've made acquisitions recently that should be generating income so it's possible another placing might not be on the cards for a while longer? . There has been nothing from the Innovation Pathway programme that the company was offered a place on at the end of June last year. Surely there should be something coming from that soon?
Anyway, I will add more if and when there is some further positive development on the Innovations Pathway prog. That seems to be the key to gaining full access to the Sandbox regulatory programme or/and full FCA approvals going forwards.
So PAS, Buda and Jimmy and any others holding here, let's imagine there is news of an rto and ITS is unsuspended, do you think the herd will descend once more here and subject the sp to crazy levels again? Last time it went to over 4p I think. I know it will depend on what detail is released concerning the rto but could it just possibly do something similar again?
Nah got 1m+ shares in this and that's plenty for me. I know what this stock can do in minutes on good news and don't want to miss out on the next spectacular rise but I'm comfortable with my holding thanks.
out of interest how many shares do you have here? I know you're a permanent resident on this bb and have many top ups every week so assume you're in deep here?
